I have some smaller ones of different brands, and they do well too but had a job to do today with a decent sized tree in the way, maybe about 5", and in probably 2-3 minutes, the problem was solved! I was quite impressed with the ease of use and just how quickly it got the job done. This saw is not cheap, but for bigger jobs, it, in my opinion is what is required to take down trees instead of just saplings or branches.
