We didn't have any any issue with this. It works on any finger even if it's damaged (my husband has rough hands from working in construction). Lightweight so it's not going to be hard to use even on children or the elderly. Nice size screen and it's still going off the original batters that came in the package with it. User friendly design, not a lot of hub bub to it. Straight forward.

When it works it works well but sometimes I have to reposition a couple times because it will say O2 is high 70's low 80's

I almost left a bad review because unlike others I’ve bought you have to push your finger all the way in! Not just on the infrared dot! LOL it kept saying I had oxygen of 80 something and I run 98-99 gave myself a heart attack!! But nope it’s a great oximeter at a great price. Fast and accurate.
