Surprisingly...delicious. No "medicine" smell or after taste.

I ordered these based on the "mostly positive" reviews that I saw regarding the taste and effects. I personally think they taste pretty good. My mom on the other hand does not like the taste at all and says she can "taste the fish." There are 3 different flavors of these gummies and I have to say that the lemon and orange are pretty spot on with how they taste. The strawberry flavor is a little off, which is possibly the one that she thought tasted "fishy." However, I guess it depends on if you can stomach that kind of taste or not. Again, I personally liked how they tasted if you want a gummy over a gel-pill. I would say that it IS worth the one-time buy to see if you like them, and then obviously don't repurchase if you do not. If you share these with others in the family, try each flavor and stick to the flavor that you like. Let the others consume the flavor(s) that you don't like. In the end, the ratings that you see with the "Yum" VS the "Yuck" are probably based on a certain flavor that they tried (most likely the red/strawberry) and didn't give the others a try. Lemon is the best!
