I wear it under foundation. It minimizes pores and keeps my face from shining.

It’s a cream formulation, but it’s clear once it’s absorbed into the skin. It leaves a dewy appearance.

Is this good to purchase for puffy eyes at age 81

It does help foundation go on smoother. I have slightly puffy eyes and my foundation looked awesome. Try putting spoons in freezer. Then put on puffiness helps lots. I've cubes, ice water.
