They are NOT magnetic but they do “clip” on. I chose these because i didn't like how the velcro curlers would be difficult to remove from my hair. After a few tries this product will be easy to use. What i have done was “scratch” the roller so that there is more grip to the surface for when you roll your hair up. I mainly use it for my bangs and curtain bangs.

Product is what I wanted

I bought these hair rollers after getting a new hairstyle--curtain bangs. I received them and the package was torn, but I assumed it was due to shipping and handling. I tried ''snapping'' them on, and there is literally no 'snap' on. It's two pieces of plastic which is pretty useless if you're trying to style your hair. There's nothing to hold the pieces together besides the fact that the shapes are complementary. I still tried them out a few times and they didn't do anything. I have thin hair but a lot of it, with a slight wave in it. Putting my hair up in a bun with a scrunchie gave my bangs a better curl than these rollers. Please don't waste your money purchasing them.

I have thick hair that is fine in texture and doesn't hold a curl easily. I have never tried rollers before so I can't compare this to anything else, but I found these incredibly easy to use. I put them in when my hair was damp after a shower and left them in for a few hours to air dry. The snap-on clips held them in place perfectly. When I took them out, I had the most gorgeous, voluminous retro curls and my hair felt SO incredibly soft. I'll definitely be reaching for these instead of my curling wand from now on! Also my hair is about armpit length and I bought 3 packs but honestly could've used a 4th because I was a few rollers short and had to make do. I'm so happy to have found a heatless method that actually works, I only wish they sold larger sizes on here so I could have more variety with the curls.
