This was a thought out written book by Dr. Aneesah N. She dives into the bliss and challenges of marriage for Muslim couples. This should be required reading for Muslim youth and an excellent resource for practitioners who deal with Muslim families. Please consider this resource for your personal and community libraries.

There is so much great information that I learned reading this book. I can definitely look back prior to marrying and identify things that should have been done prior to getting into a relationship and getting married. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who is considering being in a monogamous partnership or relationship.

“Before the Nikah” is by far one of the BEST marriage books I’ve read that’s for single Muslims only. It’s full of practical real-talks and eye-opening questions that are absolutely essential for a single Muslim brother or sister to go through. Highly recommended.

A much needed guide for Muslims seeking marriage. I encourage everyone to read it as useful tool weather it’s your first time or if you are giving marriage another try.
