i don't own Scythe, but I use these for all my games with money!
Great board game coins! Excellent look and feel. The weight is good. The finish is excellent quality; I haven't seen any indication of wear in the last year of use. Just toss all those crappy plastic and cardboard coins in to the bottom of every game box because you'll never need them again. I use these coins for every game I own with money needed. Oddly, I still haven't purchased/tried Scythe yet, but I do love the slightly sci-fi look to them. They also look just fine when playing fantasy themed or classic themed games too. A little bit on the pricey side, but overall decent value for money. I don't expect them to ever wear out, but I may purchase another set for games with a few more players...I haven't run out yet with any of my 2-5 player games.

Scythebux Are The BEST Metal Board Game Coins!
These are the nicest metal coins for board games that I've found! I bought them for Scythe but use them for just about every game! Nice and heavy, they feel and sound great in the hand and look spectacular. 80 coins in five different denominations are super distinct, easy to count at a glance, and the art is super detailed. These would make a great gift for a Scythe lover, or anyone into board games. A single set has been perfect for a variety of two person games, but I'd grab a couple (well worth it if you play a lot!) if your player counts are higher.

Missing many of each coin type! Updated!
The product looks great and is exactly what I was wanting to use for game play. Unfortunately the coin counts aren't correct. The unopened package said 10 x $20 and I got only 6; 15 x $10, 15 x $5, 15 x $3 but I only got 10 of each; and 25 x $1 but only 18 in the bag. I'll update with a picture when I get to my main computer, but for now I'm hoping the manufacture can replace the missing coins so I can up the rating. If not, then I'll return them and the rating will stand. Update: I returned the order with the missing coins and received a new package which was complete. I would still remove a star for the delay, but that was not the fault of the vendor. I have since used these coins in game and they definitely add to the enjoyment.

I love these for almost every board game with money!
I don't even like Scythe, but I love the Scythe metal money! And how odd is that? :-D These are excellent quality metal coins with very distinct differences between the denominations, easily readable numbers denoting the value of each, and terrific hand feel. I suspect they're made primarily of zinc and as a result, have the hand feel of real money metal coins. The number of coins and the differences in denominations make these coins ideal for using with other board games that use money but unfortunately use paper money. I myself most often use these coins with Power Grid and Leaving Earth, but just about any board game that only provides paper money is a good candidate to use these coins for instead. It's a real shame that these coins are going out of print because I like them a lot!

Perfect Board Game Coins
The coins for Scythe just happen to work for nearly any board game you'd need coins for money/VP tracking for. A lot of my friends own these too, and some don't even play Scythe!

So. Satisfying.
I cannot express how satisfying it is to clink the $20 coins together. Now that I have 3 packs and 30 of them to do so. It is just amazing. All the coins are good. I have ground/rubbed them together and no deform/wear/flaking of the colorations. The $20 and the $5 coins are my favorite. The $1, $3 and $10s are pretty underwhelming in a hard to describe way even in other batches. (Thought maybe my first batch just was off) But over all even with that sort of complaint they are all great coins well made.

Excellent upgrade that can be used with tons of games!
Solidly made, these come in a variety of 1, 3, 5, 10, and 20 coin denominations. Each has a different color and design. The detail makes them easy to tell apart. The 1 coins are a little bigger than a dime, and they increase in size with the amount. The 20 coins are about quarter size. Comfortable tobuse and play with. They're about as thick as a penny, I don't think there's any danger of bending them unless you're actively trying to destroy them. Bought these as an upgrade for our Gloomhaven campaign, and they have been well worth it. Off the top of my head, they can work with Scythe (obviously) but also with 7 Wonders, and pretty much any other game that uses coins as a resource. Would recommend!

You’ll not regret this purchase.
These coins are a perfect addition to any gamers inventory, since I bought the first set of these 2 years ago me and my friends have become complete money snobs and I don’t even bother to punch out cardboard money anymore. There are more than enough for games like Scythe however if you use them for games like 7 Wonders or Lords of Waterdeep you may want a second or even a third set, I have 3 sets, totally worth it. Seafall, Everdell, Monarch... basically any game that uses money benefits from this purchase.

be fatte

Metal coins for board games, um yeah!
The coins are made of light-weight metals with no jagged edges, and fully replace the coins provided in the base game. They could be used for other games as well, given the denominations of 20, 10, 5, 3, and 1. I have come to appreciate the value of using metal coins instead of cardboard cut out coins for all of my games, despite admitting they are expensive and unnecessary additions. If you love to play Scythe, you will love these coins and should consider purchasing the custom resources as well. Yes, these two additions cost almost as much as the base game itself.
