CeraVe Hydrating Cleanser with Hyaluronic Acid, Gentle Face Cleanser,16oz

I really like this CeraVe Hydrating Facial Cleanser. It cleans my face gently without leaving my skin feeling dry, tight, or irritated. The creamy formula feels smooth and moisturizing, although this facial wash does not render much in the way of suds, my skin feels soft and refreshed after washing. The pump bottle is convenient, and the value size lasts a long time. I would recommend this cleanser to anyone with normal to dry or sensitive skin who wants something mild enough for everyday use.

I was using a harsher cleanser before, but my dermatologist gave me a few samples of this one and I'm never going back. It's very gentle on the skin and leaves my skin feeling fantastic. There's no fragrance which is nice, because it's on my face and I don't want to be stuck with having to smell something all day. It definitely has a moisturizing to it and instead of leaving my skin dried out like other cleansers, it leaves me feeling like I just put on lotion. I'm grateful I found this one, with my skin apparently other cleansers were actually bad for my skin.

So excited the cleanser now comes in a refill pouch! In my opinion, it’s about time! The cleanser is gentle - you KNOW it’s gentle when it does not sting your eyes at all. It cleanses and rinses easily and thoroughly, leaving little residue. Does not dry skin. It is a superb face cleanser. Now that it comes in a refill pouch I am even happier with this product!

I'm really loving this cleanser. My face feels really moisturized and non drying after using it. However, I am questioning how well they really clean. After cleansing my face, and especially if I've worn make-up, which is kinda rare for me, but even then, I'm having to use 2 to 3 facial toner pads, so at this point I'm not sure if it's this soap or the facial pads, but I'll figure it out. In the meantime, I'll stick with Cerave for now because I love the way it makes my skin feel. I may still try another product and then make an informed decision for my skin. At 60, every little bit helps the skin.

Finding a cleanser that doesn’t irritate sensitive skin can be difficult, and this is one my husband keeps coming back to. We’ve purchased it several times because it cleans well, leaves his skin feeling soft, and never leaves it tight or dry. It’s fragrance free, gentle enough for everyday use, and a bottle lasts quite a while. My experience is a little different because I wear makeup. The formula is lightweight and more watery than creamy, so I don’t think it does the best job removing a full face of foundation or waterproof eye makeup on its own. For me, it’s much better as a second cleanse after using a makeup remover. If you don’t wear much makeup or you’re looking for a gentle daily cleanser for sensitive or dry skin, I think you’ll be very happy with it. If heavy makeup removal is your top priority, you may want a richer cleanser or cleansing balm first. TIP: One pump is usually enough. If you wear makeup, remove it first, then use this cleanser as your second cleanse for soft, comfortable skin. Would I buy it again? Absolutely for my husband. It’s become a staple in his routine, and I would recommend it to anyone with sensitive or easily irritated skin.

Excellent cleanser, leaves face hydrated and smooth. Cleans well and is gentle on the skin. It is non greasy and leaves no residue. Good quantity.

Freaking love this stuff! So I tend to have very oily skin and even into my 30s I suffer with acne because of this. The CeraVe products in general have helped me a lot. I use this stuff every time I shower and then I have a lotion for later. I have never had any skin irritations and it has always been very gentle on my skin. Great value for the money and takes me awhile to go through one bottle so very nice quantity.

One of the only face washes I can use. I am a woman with facial hair (thank you PCOS) and I use this daily in place of a shaving cream and no longer have to worry about ingrown hairs, etc. (I used to get the bumps on my neck almost every day). I also use it as a wash to remove my makeup and it does an excellent job and leaves no residual makeup but does leave your face feeling moisturized not dry (I don't wear mascara so I can't speak to that). If you have sensitive skin this might be just the ticket for you.

This is very good

Simply the best facial cleanser I have ever used. It’s a very light gel which glides on and is easy to rinse off. No irritation whatsoever and I’ve got ultra sensitive skin. It didn’t leave my face with that awful tight feeling afterwards as all other cleansers have done. I still moisturised and my face feels like silk. Amazing product. Do buy it. You only need a small amount too, so it will last for ages. Can be used on your body too.
