The belt and buckle are quality. The webbing on the belt is THICK. 2 PLY DOUBLE WEBBING 1.75 inch belt. I use the wolf every day for my duty pants. My pants hold up 20 lbs of gear. As long as you can fix the velcro, the belt will last a lifetime. I would buy 2 just in case they go belly up. I just purchased my 3rd. **Q: I wear a size 36 pants which one would be best?** A: Go to the next size up. That way you have room for in the waist band carry. They do run small but are a great belt.
