I used it on belts and watch bands with great success. I believe the renovateur luxury balm would be better purposes on leather furniture and delicate goods. I could be way off but the formulas are similar but may I think one is more directed towards footwear. Both are conditioners so it would be better to use either than none at all. **Q: Does this weather proof the leather? Looking to use in rain and snow conditions** A: No. This product is not designed to repel water/make leather waterproof.
