Wholesale Chess Silicone Chess Set (Silicone Board, Silicone Chess Pieces, Drawstring Bag)

I'm very happy with both this set, and the seller! The pieces, despite being rubber, have a very solid feel to them. They are stiff enough that they don't bend at all during normal play, and heavy enough where I don't worry about knocking them over. The extra queens are nice touch too! In a strange way, they make the set feel more professional.The board folds and unfolds without creasing, which means that the entire set fits into the relatively small bag without trouble. It is noiseless during transport too. I was originally sent a board with beyond-normal warping, but the seller sent me a new board immediately when I asked them about it.There are a couple of miscellaneous things that should be noted when you decide to go full-silicone. The board generates some static electricity, which means that it will pick up dust, hair, etc. from the surroundings. Conversely, the silicone also means that it can be washed off quite easily. The board and pieces have a lot of grip to them, which isn't really good or bad. It means that the pieces don't "slide" along the board, and must be picked up fully to move them. Likewise, you can't setup this board and then rotate it on the table to flip white/black. However, the grip keeps things from being knocked around during the course of play. I don't consider these flaws at all, as they are just inherent qualities of silicone that you should know about when considering purchasing a full set. Any material will have positive and negative traits.

This set was exactly what I was looking for to play with my 5 year old. The soft silicone pieces make it so that I'm not worried that he'll scratch surfaces with plastic pieces. The board is also made of silicone which means it won't crease. My only complaint is that one of the bishops is crooked but well within expectations given the cost of the set.

Silicone pieces when dropped will never chip nor will they mar furniture. The silicone board is terrific as it can folded small and reopened without showing any creases and always lays flatCon.Pieces cannot be heard when they fall and may become lost.The pieces do not slide easily on the board

I loved it since I used it to teach my dear old dad how to play chess and he learned. Dad loved the quality of the chess set.

Ordered the silicone chess set but received the hard plastic weighted pieces instead. The kids like it so everything's fine and the silicon board is great.
