I am pleasantly surprised. Going by the size chart and that I've been wearing XL bottoms - ordered XL. It fits perfectly and I didn't have to writhe around to get it on - even the thighs have enough room. I have a medium to slightly longish torso but the adjustable straps helped to get a good fit. I like that I can 'suck it in' more or less by choosing what row of hook & eye to use. I would say it is not a heavy level of sucking in, more like medium but it also feels quite comfortable and so I'd be more likely to wear this to a long formal event. Does a good job of smoothing everything out under a fairly body-con dress with a little booty lift as well.
