Slim Teasing Hair Brush, Mixed Boar Bristle

I bought this brush to replacement one I had previously and I’m glad I found it!!! My kid has curly but fine hair and these brittles are great for her textured hair. They are firm but soft. Works great.

This brush works great to smooth my edges. It's stiff enough to blend any product in well but not too stiff that it hurts.

Have been using this since 2012 will be ordering again and again because it leaves my hair slick all the time 💇‍♀️

I use this brush to slick down my edges. I have thick 3b/3c curly hair that's about shoulder length for reference. It gets past my thick curls to my scalp to help smooth things out. I know it's a teasing brush, but I use it mainly for edges. It's wonderful bc it's small enough to grab edged but long enough to smooth out places like the crown of my head. I really like it

Based on using this brush for several month on my hair which is medium length, curly, semi-fine, very dense/thick Northern European hair: BIGGEST PRO: Provides a neater, sturdier, longer-lasting tease than a comb BIGGEST CON: Steep learning curve if you're used to a comb OVERALL: A comb might be easier and faster, but despite the learning curve, this brush gives a finer finished product and can smooth as well as tease. *** PROS: -Can smooth the top of a teased 'do without deflating it or having to switch to a new brush -Final product looks professional and even -Makes a finer textured tease, sturdier, longer lasting tease compared to even a high quality comb -Angled handle means it's easier to grip, especially for people with arthritis or hand problems -Affordable -Doesn't get lost in thick hair CONS: -There's a steep learning curve if you're used to a comb -Takes longer than a comb -Have to use relatively shallow sections (shallower than a comb, at least) -Way more nylon than boar bristles, so it's not going to smooth as well as a 100% boar bristle brush TIPS: -Be patient and work in narrow sections. This makes a much finer tease by grabbing a shallower base of hair with each stroke than a comb would. -Use the tail of the brush to section off hair. The width of the tail is about as much as you want to grab. -When smoothing, hold your hand on top of the just-teased section and brush the to-be-smoothed hair on the back of your hand.

Love that it’s wooden so the tip can’t break off! Great quality item especially for the price!

My granddaughter's are in performing arts and show choir and I found out about this from them. if you like to tares your hair and want it to stay in, this is what you need. My hair is shoulder length and thin but this little brush pumps it up and gives it the look I want and also the staying pewee.

Probably ok for long hair, but doesn't work for short hair as the brush bristles are too thick. Also don't like the 'concave' curved design that apparently is supposed to fit the shape of the head. It's a teasing brush, not a hairbrush, so why should it fit the head? It needs to be straight to do the job.

Use it for brushing away occasional dandruff and it works great
