Review: I expected these towels to be about half the size that they are which is equivalent to a face cloth/wash cloth. At first I thought they might not work as I had planned - to use them in lieu of disposable beauty pads but I decided to try to make them work. I am very glad that I did. Not only are they a good replacement for beauty pads, each cloth provides the surface area/absorbancy of approximately ~14.59 beauty pads. Once micellar waters and balms have assisted the cloth in lifting the layers of lotions, screens, cosmetics, and dirt collected from the day, the cloth can be rinsed and used in the soap cycles. Because they are SO SOFT, a second cloth has also replaced my face cloth used for drying my freshly cleansed face. Each day, I can use 2 new cloths and do laundry once a month, skipping the beauty pads. $37.99 Moonqueen/($2.57 Beauty Pads/2 weeks) ≈ 29.6 weeks ≈ 7.39 months. That's decent ROI right there. That's without consideration for the monetary value of improved care for facial skin; these are much softer/gentler than beauty pads. They are highly absorbent but very lightweight. I did not notice any shedding upon my initial launder to remove. I believe most microfiber is (partially) synthetic, but I appreciate the softness, durability, and hypoallergenic properties of Moonqueen. I will not be using this for my body. I prefer a more aggressive scrub for my body. I will use cotton washcloths for cleaning south of my shoulders. I've attached a photo comparing microfiber Moonqueen to 100% cotton Mainstays. Moonqueen is softer, smoother, and more absorbent than I expected.
