Great product!
We've had ours for almost a year now. We have two, and I'm probably getting another one soon. They were very easy to install and work great. The batteries last a long time and really depend on how often you use the mechanism to lock/unlock the door instead of the key. In the year we've had them, we needed to replace the batteries once on the one that gets more use but not the other. The clicking sound that I've seen mentioned in a couple reviews could be the door not getting unlocked/locked all the way. If its not locked/unlocked all the way and the mechanism tries to unlock/lock it, it makes an awful clicking grinding sound and does not unlock/lock. I've only had this issue twice (and those two times were thanks to my two year old). The beeping is pretty quiet, but the mechanism that unlocks (or autolocks) the door is pretty loud. The autolock feature you can turn off or on depending on your preference. It takes a few seconds before the door locks on its own, so if you're trying to be quiet you just lock it manually before the door locks itself. The only issue other than the mechanism being pretty loud is that sometimes the numbers will register that they were pressed twice (or not at all) when you try to put in your code so just be deliberate when you put your code in and you won't have a problem....oh and don't use a six digit code like I did on the first one....keep it to four digits and you'll be happier. :)

Lasted less than 1 year
Bought December 2022. Installed that month. Stopped working November 2023. Tried everything - batteries, checking connections, resetting. Nothing worked. I think the keypad on it just died or something. Just replaced with a Honeywell. All in all I don’t recommend this lock. Worked great when it did but once it started glitching it was all over.

MAKE STUFF GREAT AGAIN. Not worse.
BEST REVIEW TO READ FOR BUYERS; Listen to me when I say have had the door lock for years and liked it.. But it has a few flaws, First flaw the weather can get into the internals and rust out components on the circuit board. Secondly, the paint on the back board of the unit will fade to white after repeated rubbing from typical use. So I decided to order a new one after the code set decided to stop working and this is where my EXTREME disappoint starts. Usually a company tries to improve their product. The item pictured in the listing is the older model which is what I thought I would be receiving and was looking forward to have. What I got was, a downgraded version of the original, if you look at my pictures (First pictures are original model, Second is new version) the new version is drastically different. It’s keyboard is plastic not metal like the old one, the knob itself feels awkward to grab, and the lock button is comically huge and dumb looking. Also the new one the handle is higher for some reason?. Not to mention the fact that the battery compartment is all springs which were bent and misshaped. Out of the box I had to rebend in a way to even fit the battery’s in.. Not happy with the new model at all, I will be sending it back and trying to solder on a new micro switch to be able to set my older much superior one’s lock code again. MAKE STUFF GREAT AGAIN. not worse..

2/3 ain’t bad
I needed a lock to let my daycare families come and go without leaving my door unlocked all day or having to constantly let them in. I wanted a Schlage, but couldn’t justify the price. And I wanted something simple. No need for Bluetooth or additional apps. Plus, the door jambs in my 60’s house with horrible DIY repairs aren’t the best and I haven’t the time, money or energy to fix them right now. Enter this lock. Pros: -Reasonable price. -Quick and easy install. -Very simple programming. -Easy to use. -Actually buttons instead of touchscreen (this works better for my truckasaurus hands). -Let’s you know when the batteries need changing. Cons: -One of the locks just stopped working after a month. The batteries were dying, then the buttons just stopped working when I replaced them. And the number for customer support doesn’t help. You get directed to the website and can’t speak to an actually person. -It is loud! The beeps are loud. The locking mechanism is loud. And because of this, the batteries die faster than I expected. -The auto lock isn’t as fast as I’d like. It takes 5-10 seconds. For safety and security, especially with tiny escape artists, it would be nice if it only took a second or two to auto lock. Also, you have to unlock from the inside every time you go through the door. This works for me during the week when the children are here, but it’s annoying when I don’t have to worry about toddlers trying to run away. -It lets you know when the batteries are dying by beeping obnoxiously when you try to unlock the door, and then not allowing you to unlock the door. Can we get a day warning? Could do with some improvements, but it’s cheaper and basic. So I’m cool with it. Eventually I’ll get the Schlage, but, for now, this works for me.

Fantastic Support
I bought this lock 4 years ago. The lock was great but I didn't bother to rate and leave a review, until now. I used the lock for more than two years at my previous (rental) place. The lock was solid. It looks nice, easy to install and I didn't need to replace the battery the whole time. Note that I locked and unlocked the door only about twice a week. Since I used it for my room, I don't care much about how easy it is to pick the lock. :) Anyway, I moved about one year back and just realized I lost the keys for this door knob. I went ahead and contacted the support via email. They respond quickly and offer me the replacement keys for free since I am located in California. Definitely will buy from this brand again.

Inconsistent features, not as described. How to run with rechargeable batteries.
I bought the lower-tier version that does not have the button on top that lights up the numbers. My understanding was that the buttons glow in the dark on this version without the backlight. Model was TKK-02SN for $42.50 each. This model number was on all the boxes that arrived. All 4 locks do have that button, and pressing it does cause the numbers to light up. None of them have buttons that glow in the dark. Pressing a button other than the top button does not activate the backlight. At least one lock will not unlock consistently if I press the top button first. Most of the time, it will not unlock if the top button was pressed, even after multiple tries. So, I have to get another light to see the numbers. Without pressing the top button, it works consistently. That's helpful only during the day. Once in a while it does work after pressing the top button! There's probably some pattern to it, but I can't figure it out. One of the locks was intermittent - sometimes it would operate, sometimes it wouldn't. Remounting it sometimes helped, but I didn't want to have to do that often. I asked the manufacturer for a solution to this problem via the warranty support section of their website. I did not receive any acknowledgement (other than automated) to my enquiry. But ~10 days later, a replacement mechanism including an indoor knob arrived! It hasn't jammed since I swapped them. Two of my locks light up red while unlocking the door. The other 2 light up blue when unlocking. When locking the door, the light colour is opposite. All locks beep while locking or unlocking. When the battery is a little low, all locks give 20 beeps and then unlock the door. Any of this annoying beeping can wake up someone sleeping in a nearby room. I haven't figured out a way to stop the beeping. The mechanism draws 2A maximum to turn the motor that locks or unlocks the mechanism. I figured that out while trying to diagnose the intermittent jamming issue mentioned above. If the voltage falls below around ~5.4 volts while operating the motor, it won't work. This is why the instructions say to only use fresh alkaline batteries (infinitive deliberately split). I found that freshly-charged NiMH cells do work, but only for a couple days. The solution I found for using rechargeable batteries in these locks is: 2 NiMH + 1 Li-ion + 1N5817 schottky diode. The AA Li-ion cells are uncommon but available online. This combination of cells gives more voltage than 4 alkaline AAs, so the diode is there to drop the voltage a little bit. The diode might not be necessary, but I didn't want to risk damaging the electronics from overvoltage. If you try this, realize that you're taking a risk because at full charge, this combination will give about 6.6V where as fresh alkaline AAs can give up to 6.2 V. It's inconvenient to have 2 kinds of battery chargers, but I have them anyway because I use these AA Li-ion cells in other appliances as well.

Good knob
Easy to install, i was able to replace my old lock in 15 mins. The pin was easy to setup as well. Turning the knob and as well as turning the lock feels a bit off. It feels like something inside is stopping it from turning...

One of the best concise books, very reasonably priced
The battery died in a months time and finally it stopped working with in 2 months of purchase. I had to break open the door as keys were left inside. Spent another 50 dollars in door repairs Does not even indicate low battery
