Seems like a solid switch. I am using the PoE for a Access Point and it has been working great. Nice switch for the money, and a good performing product overall.

I have purchased many of these switches to run various PoE IP camera systems, and they have worked like a dream every time. The PoE supply is good - easily supports 8 PoE IP cameras with a small energy footprint. The two gigabit uplink ports make it really easy to connect this switch to multiple devices and networks. Works really well with my Synology NAS system. Very good price for what you get and the durability of the switch. It's a "dumb" switch - there is no interface or operating system - just plug and play. All the PoE ports are providing PoE all the time, there's no switch off for that. Highly recommend to anyone needing a quick 8 port PoE switch - especially for operating IP cameras!

it works, 100mbs is kinda slow so better to look for 1g ports also kinda noisy (if you are using poe)

Good for the money.

Can reach the switch if only the uplink is plugged in. As soon as any device is plugged in the switch is unreachable and no traffic is passed to any devices on any of the 8 ports. Unplug everything and it is reachable again. Spent way too long with various combinations of things plugged in with no success at all. Unfortunately waited too long to plug it in to return it.

I remember at the time of ordering thinking that it was good value for money. So far have not been disapointed. As many PoE connected devices could have your cable running outside the additional lightening protection is a good idea. Where this one is used there is no lightening so I probably will never know if it works. I connected my PoE device accross a 30ft cable and power as well as data is working well.

Ich nutze den Power over Ethernet Switch nun seit 10 Monaten und bin rundum zufrieden. Alles funktioniert einwandfrei – vom ersten Tag an bis heute gab es keinerlei Störungen oder Ausfälle. Die Stromversorgung über PoE läuft stabil, alle angeschlossenen Geräte werden zuverlässig versorgt. Der Switch tut genau das, was er soll – zuverlässig und ohne Aufmerksamkeit zu erfordern. I was so impressed I bought another a few months later! I bought my first one for 4 hikvision poe cameras and worked perfectly, so I bought another for another 4 reolink cameras and up to press they have performed brilliant! In the box is the unit itself a kettle lead power cable and instructions. The unit feels really well made, and has some weight behind it for a switch. The power lead is actually quality, nice and thick and well made, not your usual tosh you get with some unknown brand electronics. The size is just a little larger than a standard network switch. Please don't worry about the speed being 10/100 this is ample for cameras, for instance on one of my units I have a 3 x 5mp and 1 x 8mp cameras. The 8mp is an all bells and whistles one with 4 streams constantly running and they all run at full speed and stream perfectly. There is 5 ports in total all with a link light that flashes, one port is for access to your network and the other ports are for your cameras (or other poe devices) it's pretty clear what ports are what on the unit. All in all I'm really impressed so far especially for the price. Thanks
