Great IPS color, better blacks, clear, fast, smooth, no issues with dp1.4 on windows 10. I've read others have 2.1dp possible issues, but there is a setting that lets you change the dp signal inside the OSD so maybe that could be a fix? I've had no issues so far. I prefer IPS over OLED due to longevity and brightness, and no worries for burn-in. Loving the 480hz at 1080p even in newer titles.

Now, this is the best monitor for me. The specs are amazing, fast IPS, 4K, 144hz, HDMI 2.1, Veda HRD600, 27". EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS MONITOR IS PERFECT! But my monitor was a defective unit which had a vertical line of dead pixels on the right side. This could be from damage from delivery or due to quality control issues from LC. I got this monitor (brand new condition) for $749 on a deal on Amazon. I am not paying $800+ with taxes on a defective monitor. I am returning this product. If they offer a reduced price or $749 (the same initial price I bought it for) then I'll repurchase it. Hopefully, the next time it will not be a defective unit. Be AWARE of the quality control issues or the damage that can occur to the monitor from delivery. My review is also to create proof and evidence of my case. This is a very good monitor, all things considered. However, it has one serious flaw that needs to be considered: overclock mode is broken. If you enable it, you will experience regular black screens where the monitor stops working for 3-5 seconds and then the image reappears. This will, of course, happen at the worst possible times. That being said, I've yet to find a monitor in the market that doesn't have _some_ issue, so I decided I could live with this and I only use it on 144hz mode which is more than enough. I tried a Samsung Odyssey G7 before this which was complete garbage in comparison to the LG and was filled with dead pixels and terrible font rendering. So, if you're looking for a decently priced 4K 144hz monitor and are okay paying for a broken overclock mode that you won't use, I can actually recommend this. The image quality is fantastic and the RGB mode is very pleasant and has a nice physical dial.

Best gaming monitor I've ever owned by far. Not even sure how they could make it better in any way that matters.

My son loves it! Says the screen is big, the colors are phenomenal. It’s something he wanted, not too big, just the right size with the best qualities.
