Does this rug have the natural (original) leather/skin underside?

This one does, yes. Unlike the Safavieh brand that has a woven fabric underside. This one seems to be of higher quality and is softer, I'd recommend it.

Are these products washable?

Yes, these are machine washable. We do recommending getting a sheepskin fur brush and brushing the fur while wet (if washing at home)

Wool clothes make me itch pretty bad. I want to use this rug to put on top of my leather recliner. Will I have the same problem?

As far as size, I use mine on my office chair and it fits / works perfectly! As far as your itch, I'd say if you're allergic to wool, then this is not for you.

excellent quality. For those picky about colour

excellent quality. For those picky about colour, mine is a definite cream, not dead white. Which I personally love; makes it look authentic (which it is) versus those cheap dead white reproductions.
