SweetLeaf Wisdom Sweet Drops Vanilla 1.7 fl.oz 6 Pack

I bought a sweetleaf variety somewhere before that was really good, so I was hoping that's what this would be. It's not.. so bitter like regular stevia. I could barely taste the vanilla in my coffee, regardless of how much I added and it's very bitter at any amount, couldn't finish it. Very disappointing, it's not cheap and not returnable.

I love my coffee black with sugar, but my husband claimed I was going to get diabetes if I kept downing sugar with every cup. After researching sugar alternatives, I learned the only ideal substitute is stevia. I originally bought pure raw stevia and put a pinch in coffee, but it was so easy to overdo and even opening the bag would flood the air with a sickly sweet taste. I finally discovered the glory of vanilla liquid stevia when a friend had it at her house. Just a little squirt and ta-da! Perfect coffee every time. My husband always drank black coffee with nothing, but after trying this on a whim, he has to use it every time. Seriously delicious. I also love to put it in plain greek yogurt with berries, it tastes like ice cream! After reading and researching a million reviews, I know that this brand is the perfect combination of quality and affordability (especially now that my husband and I both use it, we go through it way too fast). It has become a necessity for our household and officially receives my stamp of approval.

Not going to lie, I like my coffee sweet. I probably use more than a serving each time. However it comes out in a steady steam - I’ve not figured out a way to get “5 drops” to know how much I’m using. It’s a little pricey but I’m trying to avoid erythritol for awhile so switched from Truvia. The caramel is definitely sweeter than the vanilla and so it lasted me longer. I add it to my coffee & coffeemate (still trying to find a healthier low-cal substitute…le sigh).

I'm happy it can be shipped to Taiwan even if shipping is expensive. I like the 2 ounce glass bottles better. The plastic bottle is hard to see how much you are using. I run out of the flavoring in the plastic much faster than the glass bottles. And I'm stuck with only vanilla flavoring because the others won't ship to Taiwan. At least vanilla is a good universal flavoring.
