FULI Japanese Tatami Mattress, Foldable Igusa Rush Grass, Natural, Twin

A necessary supplement for the soft mattress. It truly compliments and completes it as a bed. Very light and easily moveable, doesn't smell and is easy to clean.

Very comfy tatami mat, excellent service from the seller!

I have used this mat every day for the last two years, in combination with a bamboo-cloth memory foam mattress. Together on the floor feels like sleeping on a real bed. The rush grass mattress wicks moisture away from the mattress, and from the sleeper, very effectively - I can see how much moisture is collected on my wood floor. The mat, just like the mattress, can be folded into three during the day, and it dries off quickly and thoroughly. It is well made, firmly bound together and I can see no signs of wear or flattening. The stitching between the three panels is very very thorough indeed. Together with the 3-fold mattress above it, this mat has revolutionised my living, freeing up loads of space in my small house and offering a very comfortable low-cost solution,

Bought this for my loft bed and to put under a natural latex mattress. Love it, very durable and perfect size for the bed frame.

As an Amazon shopper who's always on the lookout for unique and high-quality items, I was immediately drawn to the FULI Japanese Tatami Mattress. I've always been fascinated by Japanese minimalist design, and this seemed like the perfect way to bring a touch of that serene aesthetic into my home. First impressions were everything with this mat. The moment I unrolled it, I was greeted with the most wonderful, fresh scent of natural igusa rush grass. It's not an overpowering smell at all; it's subtle, earthy, and incredibly calming. It genuinely makes my bedroom feel like a peaceful, natural oasis. I can totally understand why people say it's like "forest bathing" for your senses. The craftsmanship is simply beautiful. The weaving is tight and even, and the texture is firm but surprisingly comfortable underfoot and for sitting. I've been using it as a base for my Japanese futon mattress, and the combination is a dream. The mat provides the perfect amount of firm support, and I've found my sleep has been more restful and my back feels better in the mornings. It's a world away from a standard mattress, and I'm a total convert. Beyond sleeping, this mat has become a versatile piece in my living space. I've used it for meditation, yoga, and just a quiet spot to read. The fact that it's foldable and relatively lightweight is a huge plus—I can easily move it or store it away if I need to. The mat also seems to have natural moisture-regulating properties, which is a fantastic bonus. My room feels fresher, and I'm not worried about my futon getting stuffy. It's a simple, elegant, and functional solution. I can't recommend this FULI Tatami Mat enough. It's more than just a floor mat; it's a sensory experience and a genuine upgrade to my living space. If you're looking to create a calm, Japanese-inspired corner in your home, this is the perfect place to start. It's an investment in your peace and well-being that's absolutely worth it.
