GLORIOUS Polycarbonate Switch Plate for GMMK Pro (ANSI, Polycarbonate)

I already have the flex kit for my GMMK Pro but kept the AL plate. It sounded better and definitely added some flex. However this PC plate is a game changer on sound and flex (assuming you have the kit as well). Not only did it allow for significantly more flex once installed but the sound is not only louder, no cases form needed, but VERY deep and thocky with the same switches. The new plate just got here today and I had the time so I thought I would install, immediately logged in to write this review and share. If you love your GMMK Pro but aren't happy with the sound, order this and you won't be disappointed in the least. New plate also comes with screws but I used the ones I had as they were still good and just saved the ones included. I have a number of boards, some thocky, some creamy and some poppy. This is my primary when I need an F row and I was good with the sound but it just wasn't what I truly wanted until now. Definitely worth the price and a pretty easy upgrade as well, just make sure you have the right size screwdriver so you don't strip your screws.

This PC plate has added a pleasant sound profile to my GMMK PRO. The typing feels softer and sounds less harsh compared to the aluminum plate. It's thick and high quality and i recommend this plate if you're looking to soften the stiffness of the stock GMMK PRO. I paired this with the flex kit and left out the 2 stand offs for the PCB / top plate resulting in a good amount of flex and a much smoother typing experience and I'm very happy with the end result.

Ok so I bought this for a crazy low price and was hyped about that. Its getting 2 stars because in order to tune this keyboard to sound good you must buy a different plate from Glorious (polycarb is what I went with) and the "GOAT" stabs the gmmk pro come with are an utter disaster. no amount of tuning will save those stabs. So you will have to buy new stabs and holee mod and lube them and swap out your plate. After those expenses, the case you bought for a discount is now more expensive than just buying a prebuilt from a diff brand and tuning it from there

I bought the ANSI plate and tbh I risked buying it cause I’m not sure know gmmk pro has options like this but I just bought it, thinking about just returning it if it doesn’t fit. Not even an explanation of why there’s two different prices if it’s all the same size. Tbh if this was the review of talking about key switches and key caps I would give those 1 star cause Glorious has some issues of quality compared to the price. The only good experience was this plate and the base. Appearance is nice, more than I expected, reflect of the RBG light makes it look better. I bought the golden rotation switch at the market to match the golden color which makes it more gorgeous (unfortunately they don’t sell it on Amazon). Stability is of course great cause duh.. thing it really bothered me is Glorious didn’t gave me a single $2 screw driver to detach the pieces to customize even tho they make you spend couple hundred dollars for this keyboard. Comfort? I’ll say makes me.. feel good of the glory light. Ease of use? There’s two huge different types of nuts (long one and short one) and one small difference (flat short nuts) which later I realized it doesn’t even matter but annoying. Other than that, switching the plate was easy. YouTube reviewers says there’s a big difference of the sound but tbh I don’t feel it. Reason of buying this is to maximize reflect the the RGB and make it look more cool and expensive looking

If your using shine through keycaps with a design that is shine through then this will help more light shine through your keycaps especially the space bar. This plate allows the light from the keys above the space bar to bleed through the plate and better illuminate my space key.

This backplate was warped and definitely not made to properly fit. I had to really push hard in order for it to fit. It came with terrible screws that broke when you tightened them. When I finally had it installed after a lot of trouble, I found it wasn’t built to the correct dimensions to fit the stock stabilizers or even fit properly into the screw holes. When I tried to put switches into it, it would push them out due to the warpage and poor sizing. It also caused my stabilizers to stop working. Do not recommend. Do not buy.

It’s defuses the lighting making it look better and give a deeper or thockier sound but the screw that came to mount it are so cheap and one broke off and I was just screwing it in. Just be careful with that

As someone new to the keyboard scene, I was utterly amazed at how much a PC plate can change the overall sound profile of the GMMK Pro from the stock aluminum plate. I had zero issues with fitting it on top of the PCB and the plate foam. Using the included pointy screws to create holes in the PC plate required a bit of elbow grease at first, but future disassembles/assembles were effortless. Would highly recommend for anyone wanting more 'thock' in their GMMK :)

It’s helps switches stay in place and get in contact with the board more but it’s quite hard of a material so it’s difficult to fit it to the board. Stabilizers are hard to put if you’re using the durock v2 but you can always use the Diamond file you find on amazon to file down the material for an easy fit (which I did). It works very well and improves the quality of the keyboard

La placa no entra correctamente con los estabilizadores, se tiene que limar para que entre y aún así dobla un poco el PCB, no se si ya exista una versión actualizada pero al menos esta no queda del todo, si cambio el sonido y por el precio quizá no sea mala opción pero si hay que considerarlo

Gostei que os leds ficaram mais difusos e o som ficou mais "thocky"

取り付ける用のネジが付いていたんですが、デフォルトのプレートで使っているネジとは太さが違います。こちらのプレートに付いてるネジの方が太く、でもプレートのネジ穴はデフォルトのネジより小さい… 付いてきたネジがネジ切りタイプだったので嫌な予感がしましたが、力技でネジ切ってネジ止めするタイプでした。なんとか穴を広げつつとめましたが、穴が小さすぎるので1本折れました。付け替える時は気をつけてください。 サイズについては正規品なのでピッタリでした。ネジ穴の場所もズレていなかったのでそこは安心しました。

You get a Brass plate so you can modify your GMMK pro to be more clacky or thocky with Linear Switches. It's easy to install with just the need to unscrew the case open and then the PCB from the plate. The plate is a good quality plate that really magnifies the sound.
