HARMONY PLUS (TKR-361 PLUS) - NOW, WITH MORE THAN 6,000 SONGS!

The media could not be loaded.  I was really skeptical at first because I am very picky when it comes to music/ singing. I’ve had my share of exposure in the music/ entertainment industry (locally) so I know the basics and very particular when it comes to singing and listening to live performances, karaoke/ magic sing/ DJ equipment, etc. I do not consider myself professional since I learned singing by ear only. No formal lessons whatsoever.Recently, I moved from West Coast to East Coast and no matter how much I deny it, not being able to sing anyhow has been depressing for me.I’ve had experiences with magic sing karaoke systems that had ‘fails’ such as delays, too many songs that we’re not even aware of, disturbing sounds and so on. I even showered the seller several questions. I wanted to make sure I will get my money’s worth and feed in my passion at the same time. I wanted something that will last for years because I’m the only one who’s going to use the karaoke.After reviewing a lot of Youtube videos, reviews and other online stores, I decided to purchase the Harmony Plus- the one in clearance sale for 349$ even though my first choice was the latest model for the very reason that I prefer wireless microphones.SHIPPING:Fast and the products/ items were carefully packed. I was really impressed. Each and every single item was separately and carefully packed. They even included the batteries both for the wireless microphone and the remote control.SET-UP:I do not understand the science of setting up and technical stuff so I did my best, but kind of freaked out that I might’ve missed a song transfer pack or USB or memory card. My boyfriend fixed it in no time. We only used the Smart TV (no speakers used).TRIAL/ TESTING:Very convenient because the remote control and the wireless microphone can both be used for looking for songs. Looking for songs by title, artist, lyric, etc. — I really love this feature.**Also, I would like to emphasize the part where you just hit the OK/SEL button to reserve a song automatically. This way, it also helps in protecting the remote control or the buttons.**And when the song stops playing and after the scoring part, the next or following songs DO NOT play automatically. This is a very thoughtful feature. Usually, the next song starts playing in no time — you can’t even breathe or prepare.SELECTION OF SONGS/ SONGBOOK:I think the song book is more of a ‘formality’ but I never had the need to use the songbook since looking for songs was made much easier and more convenient. Saves time and we don’t rip the buttons of the remote control. Can’t beat the 6k+ songs (Tagalog, English, Christian and KPOP) and almost all of my favorite songs are there. Even the rare ones that typical magic sing karaoke systems don’t have. Old and new; common and rare; popular or not. Of course, we can’t expect all the songs to be there already but I’m really happy with the selection of songs (Carpenters to Bruno Mars kind of thing).SOUND:I was amazed by the sounds. The songs or music/ sounds were not edited and set up in a key tone where we’ll run out of voice (plus, we can edit the key and tempo). To be honest, I never liked singing in a screaming manner. Singing is supposed to be for fun and not for competing. Leave it on the singing shows on TV. The scoring part is cute, though. Again, we only used the speaker on the Smart TV itself and the sounds were amazing. They don’t hurt our ears.ECHO/MIC/ VOLUME:The microphone may have 1-2 seconds delay but once you get the hang of it and if you are used to singing live, then you’ll know it’s natural and even better than most magic sing/ karaoke microphones. I love that the Echo, Microphone and Music Volume has more options as in you can adjust it until 30 (though I set the echo on 14-15).I honestly don’t know what the cons are yet. I love the background because there’s a variety. I haven’t tried modifying it yet but I love the fact that it’s doable.I am hoping this would last for years, especially if I’m the only one who’s going to use this. I am just glad that this masterpiece exists!

I like it a lot! Just need more newer songs and English songs.

Great purchase

I need the phone number to call this company. The charger does not hold any charge on the microphone after a couple of months. You have to fiddle around to make this sound good.

I bought this product 6 mos ago and i loved it until yesterday my wireless microphone quit working.... i feel like i get screwed because its so expensive and doesn’t last long...

The microphone itself and its contents (6K+ songs) are perfect.Why 3 stars? It connects via RCA and nowhere in the package or the item description mentioned that it uses an old RCA jacks. The problem is, new flat screen Tv's are now using HDMI. So I was forced to get an RCA to HDMI converter to get this connected to my TV and surround sound system.

this makes my voice feel pretty good.
