I embarrassingly have a hard time with bad breath do too smoking a pack of cigarettes a day and occasionally drinking alcohol. I brush 3 times a day, floss once, and also use a water pic, I also gargle with a very expensive otc anti dry mouth wash, unfortunately after trying many times to quit smoking I just can't. At first when I opened the package I was very disappointed, because it was so very little. I used it and my breath actually smelled worse, but weirdly felt clean, then I used it again this morning along with flossing, and otc mouth wash, and was shocked that it WORKED! No bad breath! No side eyes from co-workers. It's a miracle after struggling for so many years with this problem. While it is very expensive for the amount you get, it's worth it, also the cherry on top is that it whitens as well. I can't wait to go home after work and brush again, I won't be leaving home without it from now on, and have already ordered more. I really hope it continues to work; also on a side note it weirdly looks like ashes, sorry but true.

Makes my teeth feel clean, helped with a sore tooth I was having that is no longer bothering me. My kids hate it because of the flavor so we are going to try a different flavor next time.

I was VERYYYY skeptical when trying this, but I am an absolute convert. - First: the jar is TINY. I was sad, because $$. However, you only need the tiniest amount -- I wet my toothbrush, dipped it flat into the jar, and coated the surface. It will easily last me at least a month, and I recommend it for skeptics or folks who want to change flavors often. ACT: - There is no lather, so it can be confusing at first. You spit less and become mindful of when you have gone over all your teeth. - Because of this, the brush time was shorter. - Spitting was weird too, it's a gray spit that's a little offputting. - Flavor was fine, I got the spearmint. I've been shifting to natural toothpastes slowly, so am used to flavors like cinnamon or fennel. If you are used to VERY STRONG minty toothpastes (most commercial flourides), this may seem very weird to you. It is essentially like brushing your teeth with baking soda. - You can feel the powder get between your teeth. There was very little to floss afterward. POST: - My teeth felt SOOOO CLEANNN. So clean. - This is what won me over -- lately, I've developed a curious case of bad breath (not just in the morning, but throughout the day). I've invested in tongue scrapers, natural mouthwashes, etc, but still had to be conscious of my breath throughout the day. On the 2 mornings after using this so far: - NO BAD BREATH in the morning after. - NO BAD BREATH throughout the day. I am ecstatic. Not sure why it took me so long to try it, but if you're curious, I highlyyy recommend. X

PROS: Good ingredients, great flavor (Spearmint), clean "feel" CONS: PACKAGING, price I got this as an experiment with non-industrial toothpaste. I've been using it about a week. The ingredients list is organically based and pleasantly short. You can pronounce all of it. The flavor is...interesting. The spearmint flavor is definitely there, but so is the sour of the baking soda. After brushing, the spearmint flavor remains, which is good. One big high-point is that there is no weird aftertaste like you get with common commercial toothpastes. My mouth feels very clean after I'm done...I'd say better than regular toothpastes. The price is a steep. If you're using this it's because you have deliberately chosen to spend far more than necessary. That said, I'm right on the edge for this one. The packaging is BAD! Why would you put a bunch of plastic in the packaging for an organic product. Both the lid and the safety seal are plastic. It came in a plastic bubble-wrap that was inside a plastic bubble envelope from Amazon (Not the producer's fault, but still.) Further, the container it comes is is too small for a toothbrush to fit into. So, getting the powder onto the bristles requires a great deal of shaking, tipping, and spilling. Important when you realize that the amount you dumped on the counter is sufficient to brush your teeth twice.

I was not find of the taste- bland and not sweet at all. The powder didn't feel like it cleaned or left my mouth feeling fresh. The container is really small.

I can’t use toothpaste it hurts my gums,I’ve tried many brands but this primal life doesn’t do that. gentle and my teeth feel clean.

It's very nice and works well. I was surprised by the very small size of the jar. 1/4 Ounce is very little for the price.
