Not my first rodeo. Thats an expression, an analogy. Like, Ive been down this road before. You see, I am a computer enthusiast. Thats right, I actually enjoy working on computers, both hardware and software. Maybe its the quiet challenge of getting things done, and getting things done right! The Kuzy MacBook Soft & Hard plastic cover is a relief of sorts. Why? Because they got things done right. Packaging was excellent. Fit and finish are as close to the description and as perfect as I can see (or feel). Ive used these "snap on" covers before, probably have owned half a dozen or so. Making this purchase I knew what I was getting in to. How easy and correct would installation be?My concerns consisted of basically 3 things:1) Installation.2) Fit and finish.3) Fingerprint oil problems.Everything else was partially essential. Would there be a glaring and distracting Kuzy manufacturer logo? The quality of materials and ease of use. I could go on and on, but I won't! This way you can get on with your day and put this purchase in the rear view. This installation was the easiest, literally, that I have ever done., No loud snaps or cracks and bends. Then I tested the material. Silky smooth. Fingerprint smudges, non existent. Wow. Talk about winning the trifecta! I am like you in every other way. I want to get what I pay for and for it to be as advertised. The Kuzy is all that and more. No raised lip on lower piece to annoy and get in the way of typing. The top piece fits perfectly. In fact, I believe the entire case was laser measured and cut. This case is easily $100 if purchased at the Apple Store. Lastly, reasons why I chose this type of case. I knew my MacBook 15.4" would primarily reside in a quality laptop case made by Thule. In fact, I can fit the MacBook AND my iPad 6th gen. in together at the same time. I am a big believer in preventative maintenance. This Kuzy snap on case acts as a barrier from any scratches, nicks, or dings. It will NOT protect it from a 3 foot fall! Thats not in the seller description. It will however give you piece of mind as you enjoy your MacBook, whatever flavor you choose. I chose a 2019 MacBook Pro 15 Display with Touch Bar - Intel Core i7 - 16GB DDR5 Memory + the addition of a discrete AMD Radeon Pro 4GB DDR4 555X - 256GB SSD in Space Gray, Model:MV902LL/A. This device is not inexpensive! It hovers around the $2500 price point. So save yourself time and money. Utilize my review as a springboard to making that purchase yourself. I cannot knock this case, or complain, for ANY reason! When my MacBook is out and about being used, I do not want a blade of grass to land on it and affect it (a bit extreme I know). When I put it away in the main Thule Laptop Case, I want nothing to rub up against it. With the Kuzy case I get all this and more. I did not know to what extent it would prove itself proper to me. Amazon is a great company with a great return policy. Getting it right the first time? Not so easy to do. Love this laptop case! It feels silky soft to the touch and fits quite snugly. I want to point out the fact, as some people have noted, that the bottom cover doesn't go all the way to the back of the laptop. This is NOT A DEFECT, as some have mistakenly suggested. This feature is there so that the top lid can open all the way and so that there's room for the back vent to push air out. In addition, there are vent holes on the side, which also serve the same purpose. The bottom also has a grill type venting (as seen in the pictures) which helps provide additional cooling; I like that the four rubber feet are also raised a bit to further help with that.I ordered the translucent/frosted/clear case because I purchased the Space Gray model of the new MBP, which I think is super sexy, and essentially, I didn't want to cover up the gorgeous color of the laptop. And this is where my only complaint comes in: the "frosted" aspect of the case does lighten the color just a bit. It's not as dark as it is without the cover. You can't really tell the difference from the pictures, unfortunately, but it's noticeable enough when you first put the cover on. I know, I know, it's a very minor color variation, which I suppose is to be expected with any transparent cover you put on, no matter what the texture is like. And it's not really a big deal unless you're super finicky about such things (the color is one of 5 reasons I bought this model vs the 2015 model). Perhaps I should have purchased the gray cover instead. ... Anyway, this is just an observation about the aesthetics of the case that many of you won't care about. Maybe a few of you will. I'm just having an internal struggle about leaving the cover on, and the MBP not looking how I want it, and taking it off, having it look super sexy again, but risking the device getting damaged.Oh, and on that note, the other thing I love about this cover is that the soft texture of the case of it gives you added grip. I noticed, as I'm sure many of you have, that while the new MBP is super slim and sleek, it always feels like it's going to slip out of my hands. With this cover on, the grip on the MBP has increased significantly. With that stated, I think the benefits of this case seem to double: 1) added grip can prevent the MPB from slipping out of your hands as easily as it might if you don't have it on and 2) well, if it slips out of your hands anyway (if you're as clumsy as I am sometimes) at least the case will provide some additional protection against digs, dents, scratches, etc. It will not, however, protect against water damage, so try not to take it along with you when you're swimming or taking a shower. Nor will it protect you from the anger from having to buy all the damn dongles that you need to for the new MBP. GRRR..... See? Not one bit of protection.Two thumbs and two big toes all the way up! Love it, and will probably buy another at some point ... more than likely, the gray one the next time.

I just recently said goodbye to my 2011 MacBook Pro and upgraded to the 2017 15 in. I had previously used a Speck case on my old machine and loved it. Upon reading the reviews for their new case for this model, however, I was concerned as almost all were negative on fit etc. I decided to try Kuzy - my case just came in and I am happy thus far. A matte texture, though not as grippy as the old Speck, and a thin profile. The case snaps on easily and seems to be a good fit. Most importantly, there is no rubbing or abrasion on the wrists when using the keyboard. Overall, would buy again - although I would wish the top was slightly tighter - perhaps clips on the sides as well as the front and back of the top half would provide greater security. The color is true to the photos, and the wine red is great. 4/5 - satisfied!UPDATE: The top has popped off twice. The laptop has only been moved from table to couch, and placed in a backpack sleeve twice. This is after much ado about pressing down, waiting for the click, and making sure all clips were on. At first I thought it was user error, but now I'm thinking the fit on the top isn't optimal.
