What is the difference between the 4008-10-A65 and the 4008-101-E65 ?

The E65 is the retail part number. Comes in a fancy box with instructions and hose fittings. The A65 is just the pump, sold to manufacturers and repair shops. Same pump as the E65.

What is its temperature rating can it handle 212 degree water?

The way a system works is that the pump pushes cold water into the water heater....which pushes out the hot water upon demand. Why would your pump need the handle hot water?

I'm hooking up this pump to a 12v battery so I'll be using one red and one black wire for that - what the second red wire for?
