Purina Daily Oral Care Dental Dog Treats for Small Dogs, 58 ct

Having a small breed that’s notorious for dental issues I knew I wanted to pick something that was approved by the VOHC. Unfortunately my puppy is very picky with chews and anything hard so I wasn’t sure she would eat these but she’s loving them. They aren’t as hard as other chews I’ve seen or offered dogs in the past. She’s an oversized 9 months old toy poodle that’s 11lbs. She recently started to get one every evening a hour or two before I brush her teeth at bedtime. Easily digested. Approved by the VOHC for its tarter fighting abilities. Amazing quality and quantity for the price and dental value. It also counts towards the points on myPurina app which helps with coupons and affording food and other Purina products.

Before going to bed, I wash Harry's food and water bowls then give hime one of these dental treats. That routine has resulted in Harry nipping at my feet in an attempt to "herd" me towards his bowls any time I stand up after the sun has set. Once he has me headed in the correct direction, he waits patiently as I clean his bowls. He then walks over to where I keep these treats. By the time I get the treat out for him, he can hardly contain himself. Harry absolutely loves these treats. Harry is ten years old now and receives regular veterinary care. Due to his "behavioral issues" I do not brush his teeth. He has yet to need a dental cleaning by our veterinarian. We had a previous dog cared for by the same vet. That dog required frequent dental cleaning. So, it's not the vet. Obviously, they are different dogs but, I think these chews are helping Harry to have a healthier mouth.

It’s great value for the money, easy for my dog - it’s the perfect size for my dog, he likes the taste, it has no odor, with great quality. My dog gets to chew on it for a while so it has perfect chew ability for my small dog. They digest well if you don’t give too many.

My baby boi loves these! He doesn’t like greenies as much. But I do feel they have helped with his breath even though it’s only been a few days!

I’ve really noticed an improvement in my dog’s teeth and breath. The treats are a little large for a small dog but she really enjoys them. My other dog only has a few teeth left after so many extractions but she is able to chew them and both dogs absolutely love them!

I have a 15 year old chihuahua and she gobbles these up. They aren’t too hard as she is missing some teeth. Quality product. Highly recommend.

I haven’t noticed any difference but my dog loves them so it is more like a treat.
