It's rather bright, but that is what she wants. It does make a slight noise when the rotate feature is on, but we didn't find it bothersome. We use the plug feature with a USB plug so I can't comment on battery life. The ability to change the color combinations is her favorite feature! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Magical product *by B***E on May 3, 2017* This is a magical product I can tell you that!So I ordered it since I have a 7 month old baby that just gives me such a hard time when he need to go to bed at night...so I said to myself let's give it a try... and I tried everything--- oh boy did I try everything.My little guy was so excited to see all those lights so when I put him in his crib, said night night and left the room, I didn't have to face the same everyday drama of crying to a point that he just stop breathing, sometimes even vomiting from crying.I was so happy I can't explain in words.
