In addition to many other arthritis supplements, I've taken various brands and dosages of glucosamine for decades. Nothing ever helped but I kept trying. The apparent difference is that DONA uses crystalline versus regular glucosamine...don't know what that means, but it works. This stuff has noticeable effects: my very painful hands - especially the base of my thumbs - feel much better now. The pain was so bad that even without moving my hands the constant ache was excruciating. Now, with this DONA supplement, they only hurt slightly when I lift something the wrong way. This is a dramatic change. I noticed my pain lessening after two weeks. My husband's knee pain didn't change until he'd been on DONA for about two months now. He's just barely feeling an improvement; we'll see when more time has elapsed. It's sure worth a try. Shipping is very prompt and the oblong tablets are easy to swallow.
