It has nominal filtration rating of 20 microns at an efficiency of 85%. The cartridge is made of granular activated carbon (GAC) media with a spun polypropylene inner wrap for post filtering of carbon fines and a porous polyethylene outer shell. A Santoprene gasket provides a watertight seal.
