I use on myself, babies and pet toenails. Just don’t drop them because glass will break.

Great product for babies
These are amazing and safe to touch for my almost 2 year old. It gets the job done, and it's exactly what I needed because my daughter's nails grow fast. I strongly recommend !!

Takes some time to file down but they are delicate on the skin which was exactly what I wanted.

Work well for older babies!
These work well on my baby now that he is older, but until he was about 2/3 months old his nails were too soft for a file this fine grit.

So i tried this out right away and it works but it takes longer for the nail to wear down. It is probably made of some sort of plastic but it feels like glass. The file portion itself is very very soft and perfect for baby nails. We've had a lot of trouble finding one fine enough for our 7 mo. This is going to be very nice for his sensitive fine fingernails. Would recommend it with the heads up that it will take time to get the nails down but much gentler is the key!

Not worth it. Nail clippers did a better job.
I really wanted to like these baby nail files so that I wouldn't feel like I wasted money opening the package... 2 stars because the package arrived promptly and the nail files were in tact. I'm upset that I don't think I can get a refund since they're not worth the price. Sure, they filed my newborn's nails, but barely. If anything, they actually damaged/split one of the nails even though I filed in one direction and was not aggressively filing. My baby nail clippers did a better job, even at rounding out the corners. Save your money and get a nail file that actually does a good job, or gain confidence, adaptability and patience with using nail clippers after you washed your baby and while they're asleep.
