Battery life is terrific!
This is the watch I was looking for. I've only had it a few days, yet haven't needed to charge it yet. In my opinion, the battery life of a smart watch is the most important feature. Amazfit did a great job with this watch. Of the five smart/fitness watches I've owned over the past few years, all had miserable battery life. What good is a watch, if it has to stay on the charger? Last year, I picked up the new Google watch as a promotion when I upgrade my phone. In other words, I didn't have time to do the typical research. :( The first day of using it, by the time I went to bed it was dead. I went looking for something better. Then I discovered Amazfit. This is a watch company to be reckoned with. I started pouring over their offerings and their lineup of models is impressive. Initially, I purchased the Bip 3 Pro. I bought primarily for the great price. However, I decided to see what a modest upgrade would offer. (Nothing was wrong with the Bip 3 Pro. It functioned fine.) At the end of the day I decide to upgrade to the Amazfit GTS 3. I'm still learning the navigation and features it offers. Below are features I found most notable, so far. Pros: 1 - Battery life of 12 days. Impressive by historical smart watch standards. 2 - A little bigger display then the Pip 3 Pro. 3 - The 1.75" AMOLED screen is gorgeous. It is super clear, bright and characters sharp. Great contrast as well. 4 - Reasonably good fitness features. I wanted a watch that would also help me keep track of my sleep. I haven't used it long enough to properly rank this now. 5 - Nice soft silicone band. 6 - Perfect size and looks good on my small wrist. Cons: 1 - My one complaint is the small, plastic magnetic charger base. Any bump of the watch will unseat it. There's simply not enough surface area of the uber-small pins of the charger base to attach firmly with the watch. I know some things need to be made a little cheaper to meet costs, but this could be improved. I hope Amazfit will design and offer another charger with better magnetics. So far, I'm very happy with this watch. The features/price value is exceptional. At $120 you can't go wrong. Amazfit seems to be on a great track to continue to design exceptional smart watches that include all the usual features of a smart/fitness tracker. If I uncover any other features that stand out I'll update this review.

Great watch, big display, long battery life
My daughter showed me an Amazfit GTR 3 Pro she recently purchased and how easy it was to use, and it looked gorgeous on her. I needed something that looked stylish while monitoring my heart rate, oxygen level, breathing rate, etc. So we searched upon this brand to see what other watches it has to offer. And I laid my eyes on this rosa color watch, the screen size is just right, not too big for the wrist, yet I was able to see all the text on the big display. My daughter helped me set this up in just a few minutes. And I’ve been wearing it since, received so many compliments from others. Now I have a piece of mind to track how active I am, and if I were sitting too long, it’d remind me to get up and walk a little. I also love how it monitors sleep patterns; and suggests ways to reduce stress, such as breathing exercises, to help you improve sleep quality. The biggest plus is, I had not needed to recharge it since I got the watch (it was at 89% battery when I got it last week); now, almost a week has gone by, it is still running smoothly (you don’t have to charge it daily like the other smartwatches).

Decent watch for the price.
Bought this 2.5 years ago. It is a decent watch. Looks like an Apple watch. Feels like it's quality made (despite the stupid brand name that is so high correlated with cheap Chinese made crap all over Amazon). It's also relatively slim and it feels good on the wrist. It's basically waterproof... But don't wear it in the shower. It has a tendency to respond to texts for you when the screen is wet. It uses scripted responses that can be quite rude in American vernacular. I've had to make many apologies to friends and family. I've bought a few Amazfit watches over the years (might be called Zepp now). I can attest to their quality. Battery life is not exaggerated. It feels unusual to actually have to charge this thing. One day, the screen just fell out of the bezel... That was odd, but I still think it's a great alternative to the high priced watches. I wonder if others have experienced the glue separating like that.

Twelve day battery life is a lie. Watch dead at the 7 month mark. Warranty not being supported.
Update - contacted Amazfit, for warranty help. They sent some steps to rectify the issue. They also said if that did not work, I was to contact Amazon for warranty support. Guess what? Amazon Product support does not give you any way to request warranty work. Update - three days after writing the original review, the watch has started turning itself off, even though it has a full charge. The only way to turn it back on is to plug it into the power cord and press the side button for 5 seconds. It stays on by itself for around 20 minutes, then turns off again. Have submitted information to Amazfit to get this covered under warranty. Changed to one star. Original review - I'm generally satisfied with the watch. Can easily get to the stopwatch, which I use a lot. But I use this watch to get the time, the stopwatch, and to track my steps. Not syncing to anything. Not using Amazon on it or making phone calls. Not tracking fitness (walking, running, etc.) This thing has never lasted for 12 days on one charge. Started out around 7 days and is now down to maybe 2 days. Takes forever to charge, as in went from a 15% charge to 80% charge in 3 hours. Probably should not have expected much, given the price. But I won't be replacing it with this brand.

Lasted nearly 2 years.
Bought July 2nd 2024 & it just died. The screen would only turn on when the watch was plugged in & charging - even when it was 100% charged. Before it died, the battery life was incredible - lasted over 2 weeks for some stretches. Absolutely blew my mind. I swam with it with zero issues, I’ve worked out with it and it counted my steps perfectly. It was adorable - went with every outfit, perfect for daily use and the color lasted a long time as well. I would have kept it for the rest of my life had it continued to work.

Decent Smartwatch with Some Pros and Cons
I recently tried out the Amazfit GTS 3 Smart Watch, and overall, it offers a mix of strengths and areas for improvement. In the end, I returned it Design and Display: The design of the Amazfit GTS 3 is sleek and modern, with a lightweight build that is comfortable to wear. The AMOLED display is bright and clear, making it easy to read notifications and track fitness metrics even in direct sunlight. Fitness and Health Tracking: The watch comes with a variety of fitness and health tracking features, including heart rate monitoring, sleep tracking, and multiple sports modes. These features work well for the most part, providing useful insights into my daily activities and health. Battery Life: One of the standout features is the battery life. The Amazfit GTS 3 can last several days on a single charge, which is convenient for those who don’t want to charge their watch every night. Software and Compatibility: The software interface is user-friendly, but it can sometimes feel a bit sluggish. Additionally, while the watch is compatible with both Android and iOS devices, some features are more optimized for Android users. App Ecosystem: The app ecosystem is somewhat limited compared to other smartwatches on the market. While it covers the basics, those looking for a wide range of third-party apps might find it lacking. Price: The Amazfit GTS 3 is reasonably priced, making it a good option for those looking for a budget-friendly smartwatch with essential features. Overall, the Amazfit GTS 3 Smart Watch is a decent choice for those seeking a stylish and functional smartwatch without breaking the bank. It has its pros and cons, but it performs well for everyday use and basic fitness tracking.

Had to try again but this one is good
First one needed charged so hooked it up and started charging it. Once charged I opened the zepp app and held the phone over the QR code and clicked on the checkmark on the phone. It then told me it needed to update the watch firmware. That was the last time I was able to see English on the watch. Gave up finally since there was just enough glare on the watchface so the tiny Chinese writing could not be deciphered by the translator phone app. Sent that one back. The next one I did the same process and it worked. Yes at the beginning it had choices of English and Chinese and I selected English both times. And both times the firmware updating was in English. Difference happened at the end the 2nd watch opened in English the first in Chinese. Watch is nice, on the 3rd day with 82% battery charge. I previously had a GTS 2e so am familiar with the features.. This one seems a bit faster . Have not set up all the features but did test the step counter and it seems accurate. Now wn 4th day and charge is 71%. Previous watch usually was under 50% by now. Heart rate is being measured every 10 minutes and a 5200 step walk was tracked.

Good watch for casual exercisers
Has worked great for the past 2 years. Good for a variety of exercises and stays pretty accurate for the most part. I can see notifications and incoming calls/texts, just could not respond to them, which worked for me. Only needed to charge it every 3-4 days and I work out 4x weekly. Almost 2 years exactly, it started losing charge more regularly (needed to be charged every day). Now it charges and turns on while on the charger, but will not hold a charge when taken off. So I guess it’s toast, but it defeats worth what I paid, I’ve enjoyed it. I did keep a screen protector on it at all times and haven’t had any issues with the screen.

Love my amazfit gts 3
I have nothing really bad to say about this watch I enjoy it so very much.. everyone has their own preferences and opinions so please do your research but in my experience I absolutely love my watch. It's crisp it's not on a high brightness setting and still looks bright and crisp when I check the time outside even on the brightest day. I love that.. there's a fair amount of watch faces which is great.. has everything I want tons of exercises I can record I wanted one for boxing which is definitely an option has water reminder too. I've had different fit bit watches as well a samsung gear fit pro 2 and the battery life on my amazfit is way better than any of my previous watches battery lasts maybe week and a half maybe 2.. I charged my watch last week I think maybe prior and I was just at 24% today before I decided to charge it. There's 2 things I don't like but they aren't a deal breaker for me one being I don't like how the band fits I have it kind of loose and it still makes my thumb feel funny I am not fully 100% sure it's related to me wearing the watch so that one is not overly important the only other thing I am not a fan of but isn't a deal breaker for me and this could be me as a user but I find there's no "back" option I try to swipe right on the screen doesn't always work not sure if it's supposed to so I often click the crown part and it starts me over from the front screen at times its annoying but again could be user error and not a deal breaker.. one of my favorite features is the pet slime. It's alil virtual pet that is to motivate you to keep active atleast 500 steps the slime has 3 hearts and u must keep them full for it to age and if they depleat it cries and if all 3 hearts are empty it dies. It's a fun motivation indeed. All in all it was a great buy for me

Probably used or returned item
I have had a few Amazfit watches. This one came out of the box with zero battery and when I tried to pair with it, the Zepp app informed me that this watch had been previously registered. I had to do a factory reset to restore the watch to its original condition in order to pair with it. For the price, I am not really complaining, but it should be labelled correctly either as used or refurbished item.
