great knife, one flaw
I am "picky" when it comes to paring knives, as I use them a LOT. This one is gonna stay in my kitchen, definitely. It is super fun to work with, despite looking cheap and plasticky, I just throw it in the dishwasher, done. Ok, what's the flaw? It is way too thick. The top of the blade is 1.2 mm thick. You can buy knives on amazon that are 40% thinner and this makes hell-of-a-lot of difference when cutting starchy things. Henckel paring knives is the ones I have, but I'm sure there are more. However, some people would buy a 10x more expensive full tang knife. It looks amazing and has at least 2mm thick blade. I'm one of those. The thing is, that expensive knife will stay in the drawer most of the time, it is completely useless other than looks. That's just me, what do you think?
