Review: A great value purchase - I read the reviews of these boots and was a little wary of some people finding the fit a little tight as I have wide feet. However I noted that the boots were fleece lined and I assumed this may have contributed to some other purchasers finding them tight. I purchased the boots and at first they felt tight in the toe area and were initially a little uncomfortable when walking downhill. I continued to wear the boots for dog walking for around 2 hours each day. Now that the boots are “broken in” they fit me well and I have no discomfort at all. They are very splash proof and I have regularly walked through around 3 inches of water and have had no leaks at all. The fleece lining has worn in and my feet feel lovely and warm whenever I wear the boots. I have paid a lot more for boots in the past that leaked water even after wearing them for only a few weeks. This is a great value product compared to several more expensive brands.
Review: Generally very good, just a few niggles - Bad stuff first: After less than a year’s wear the heel of one of the boots has needed to be glued back on to the shoe as it has torn on one side. One of the lace holders has come away from the shoe. The sole padding is next to non-existent, meaning I needed to buy insoles (2 for each boot, one of them with a firm heel support) to make walking in them painless. The good stuff: Apart from the hole in the heel, very waterproof. Very warm. Decent grip (though could be better). Good ankle support. Generally very comfortable (once I got the extra insoles). Happy to buy again, particularly as the extra insoles of my current boots can be swapped to the new pair.
