I picked up this Strongway 6-in-1 adjustable set mainly for home workouts, and overall it’s a very convenient piece of kit for basic strength training. The main strength here is versatility. Being able to switch between dumbbells, barbell, kettlebell, and even push-up supports makes it useful for a variety of exercises without needing multiple separate pieces of equipment. It’s particularly handy if you’re short on space and want a compact home gym solution. Assembly and adjustment are fairly straightforward once you get used to it. The weight plates are easy to add or remove, and the connectors feel secure enough for controlled movements. In use, it works well for general fitness, toning, and light strength training. Exercises like curls, presses, and squats are all manageable, and it’s a good option for maintaining fitness at home. However, it does have limitations. The build is more suited to lighter or moderate weights rather than heavy lifting. The plastic components and locking mechanisms feel adequate, but not something I’d fully trust for very intense or high-load training over time. It’s also a bit time-consuming to switch between modes compared to having dedicated equipment, so it’s more practical for varied workouts rather than quick transitions. Overall, this is a solid, space-saving home workout set that offers good flexibility for beginners or casual fitness use. It’s not gym-grade equipment, but it’s a practical all-in-one solution for staying active at home.

These weights are easy to set up, although winding certain parts does take some time. The bars are comfortable to hold. When first opened, there is a noticeable smell, but it fades with use. The locking mechanism is good, thought it can occasionally loosen during my workouts. Overall, the set is functional and offers good value for the price.

Pros - great as a barbell set, easy to put together and the cushioned bar really helps with grip and is comfortable for hip thrusts. The push up handles are a nice little addition. Cons - far too big as dumbbells, the weights are a considerable size and are difficult to handle once attached the the bars. The plastic attachments also come loose very easily and need to be checked on a daily basis. Overall for the price, it's reasonably good value but not for me as it's just a barbell and that can be bought cheaper elsewhere. I'll stick to the smaller (more expensive) dumbbells.

For the price, I was not expecting too much. However, I was very pleasantly surprised by what turned up. Although the kit arrived in a small, but heavy package, when it was all unpacked it was indeed a very comprehensive weights lifting kit which is very easy to assemble. Although the kit is of a plastic type material it feels very cushioned to hold, is comfortable to use, and looks to be very solid and robust, and if treated sensibly and with respect this kit should give years of valuable domestic weight training and fitness service within the home for most ages. Now in my 70s, I chose this kit to use at home to help keep fit, maintain bone density and maintain and build a bit of muscle tone. Although having only just received the kit I can see no reason why it should not suit my requirements admirably. In conclusion, take care of it, be sensible and realistic with it and enjoy the exercise, fitness and weightlifting ride this kit offers. Good luck and happy exercising.

Gave my postman a nice work out. Good for price, ab roller is a really nice little addition - great for lower abs. However the securing mechanism for the weights is way too flimsy. Make sure you use the wing nuts and over tighten, otherwise they fall apart really easy. Rip fluffy.

The weights were delivered with poor packaging (just paper sheets separating parts). In addition, two of the weights were damaged with a split in one and another smashed open. The other weights were delivered intact but with significant defects meaning some of the slots for loops were impossible to access due to bulges. The bars felt flimsy but I did not get a chance to use and end caps were made of plastic. I would not recommend this weights set

Good set of weights for beginners! Easy to assemble and storage. Grip is great and looks good.
