Visually Speaking Spanish Levels 1 and 2: Learn Spanish For Adults and Children For PC/Mac

DO NOT BUY PLEASE, this is not a CD-ROM, it is a internet software that you can get on their website if it even worked...but this product does not work...I spent over an hour trying to download this and it was all for nothing...I tried to click on the icon on desktop on my computer after I had "downloaded" and it said that the program could not be found. THIS IS A WASTE OF MONEY

The media could not be loaded. Since I am helping a friend learn English and I also have a passion for making Information Technology understandable to end users who do not have a technical background, I decided to create this video software demonstration. I will start out by saying that I'm very impressed with this program. It is very reasonably priced and the visual component of the program helps the user not only learn but also remember the new Spanish vocabulary that he or she has learned. Since the program consists of both Levels 1 and 2, it teaches over 2,000 words and phrases. It is also has a great deal of value for very little cost. But there are couple of reasons why I decided not to give the product 5 stars.1. The actual CD does not contain software. It has a text file with instructions on how to download the actual program from the seller’s Internet server. According to the seller, this is more efficient because it allows the seller to deliver a lot of value for a small price tag, and to ensure that the user is getting the most up-to-date version of the program. It also allows anyone who does not have a CD-slot on his laptop to follow the instructions on the inside cover of the disk to download and install the program using the Serial Number found on the disk. I understand that and I do not have a problem with it. But the seller should have made the buyer fully aware of this in the product's description here at Amazon.2. While the product was being downloaded I was thinking "why not just give the customer a Serial Number and download instructions right after the sale? That would have saved me a couple of days waiting for the product to arrive."I sent an email to the company's customer support mentioning these two issues, and the company's Founder personally responded to my email, thanked me for my purchase, and said that he will have it made clear on the product's Amazon description page that the software must be downloaded from the Net, and that he would address my second concern with the software developer who developed the program.When these two issues are addressed, I will happily change my 4-star review to a 5-star review. As I mentioned, the program is priced very economically for a program that teaches over 2,000 words and phrases. And the visual component really enhances the program's effectiveness. If the seller makes this program to teach other languages besides Spanish, I think that it can quickly become one of the best methods available for learning a foreign language.

ram as I am.I use this program to add lots of new Spanish words to my vocabulary. Since you can set the timer to give yourself fewer seconds or more seconds to respond with the correct answer, the program does an excellent job helping the user to think in Spanish. And by repeating the correct answer after the Spanish speaker says it, I think it is really helping to improve my pronunciation. Considering that the program includes both levels 1 and 2, I think it's a pretty good deal for the price. I'd certainly be interested in learning how to speak additional foreign languages using this method.By the way, I have a niece and a nephew, a 7 yr. old and an 8 yr. old, and the three of us use this program to learn Spanish. With the program's clipart images, they seem to be just as hooked on learning Spanish with this prog

It is download from internet. Lots of trouble to download. Not useful to me at all!

The best part about this program is that it doesn't just teach vocabulary words. For example, as an intermediate Spanish speaker I was tempted to skip the section on numbers. Glad I didn't since after introducing each number, there is a sentence in English using the number and then a pause for you to translate into Spanish. Much better than just mindless counting. This feature makes it good for advanced beginner or intermediate students. I wish there were some more instructions. You can click the star next to any word and it is added to your favorites list. I thought I would use that as a way to mark the words that I was having trouble with but can't figure out a way to play the words listed under favorites. You can create your own list from the set lists but not apparently from the favorites list.

I have been a customer of this company's products for a few years. This is another product that has exceeded my expectations. Besides the reasonable price, I like that it has a visual aspect. Being able to see the images really helps me remember the Spanish that I am learning. If you really want to get the most out of this program, I suggest that you download the mp3 audio files to your mobile device after you practice with the program on your laptop.I didn't have a slot on my laptop to install the disk. It was very convenient for me to be able to follow the instructions on the inside cover of the CD case which allowed me to download the program from the Internet, and then complete the installation with the serial number found on the disk. So if you don't have a slot on your laptop to insert the disk, you will need to have an Internet connection to install the program.I was happy to find out that my purchase also includes access to a cloud version of the program that I can use on my iPad. But I was a little disappointed to find out that I can only access the cloud version on my ipad but not my iphone.

This is a great product and truly deserves this 5-star review. It is especially useful for anyone who considers himself or herself a visual learner. The clip art images do a very effective job at helping me to learn the Spanish taught in this program. The only way I think the program can be improved is by adding some more advanced Spanish verb conjugations. I understand that the primary objective of the program is to teach Spanish vocabulary. But it would be awesome if this program also taught some advanced grammar topics while teaching Spanish vocabulary.
