It’s just an oval shape which makes it impossible to put a sheet on top and keep the surface smooth, all the extra material gets bunched up on the sides and to the middle. I don’t recommend buying it if you looking for something to fit halo bassinest. Review: Terry Cloth Cover is GENIUS! - Before baby you get a ton of things you didn’t ask for and didn’t think you needed. I would have never bought a terry cloth basinet cover, but we got them as hand-me-downs and I can be frugal so I kept them and used them. We got several hand-me-down waterproof items and this was the ONLY product that the waterproof part wasn’t all cracked and leaky and it was so soft and not crinkly like a plastic bag at all! After using a few times we realized that the terry cloth is great because when baby spits up a bit it quickly absorbs instead of letting him roll in it, giving everyone a better night sleep and you the chance to change it in the morning as long as it wasn’t a big messy business. I loved these so much that I had to buy more because I only got 1-2 and we don’t do laundry that often.
