What is the particle size of this microcrystalline cellulose powder in microns?

I am not sure of the size as a measure. I do use it as oral supplement and mix it into juice. While insoluble, it is in powder format and is really not too difficult to drink after I stir it up.

Is this exactly the same as methylcellulose?

no , not the same. methyl cellulose will thicken liquids, microcrystalline will not.

Why did this show up in my search for methyl cellulose? ??? i ordered it in error based on search results. can't return.

their search engine just showed you everything with the word cellulose. i wanted hydroxy ethyl cellulose and this is what i got too. if find an alternate use for it would love to hear it .
