**Q: how do you use the pro-stat the flavor is terrible and my mom has severe protein malnutrition and pressure sores she doesn't want to drink it**
A: I understand how your mother thinks it tastes terrible. I agree! I was given it daily after having foot surgery while I was in a nursing home for 3 months. (The Doctor had to break my foot in 3 places and rebuild it from the foot bed up, with 7 pins in it) I had a heel ulcer and a 1 1/2”X 2” wound on the top of my foot. I tried mixing it with several things, but the best way was to put it in a 1 oz. pill cup, shoot it down an follow it with ice water. Mixing it with anything just prolonged the agony.

A: Pro-Stat is sugar free,contains fructose, a low glycemic sweetener.

**Q: Whatnsweetner is used?**
A: Pro-Stat 64 is sugarfree...no sweetener added which is what I use.  There is Pro-Stat101 with sweetener added, the type of sweetener can be found in the detailed description.

**Q: does the product contain milk in any way, shape or form?**
A: According to the label, and I quote:  "Lactose free, Soy Free, Gluten Free"

I really like this product. I have only gotten the grape flavor but its enjoyable for me. It doesnt have a weird mineral taste. I usually mix a serving with a full bottle of water and its just like drinking flavoring packets. If you like grape, youll like this. I have been losing weight and my hair has been going with it. I was told to increase my protein so this has been extremely beneficial to me during all of this.
