A little Net research turned up the following: "...marked with a manufacture date. The following is an example of this marking: 12C06. The "12" stands for the year 2012; the "C" stands for the month (March; January is represented by "A", December by "L"). The last two numbers "06" stand for the day of the month. Therefore, the code date 12C06 indicates March 6, 2012 and represents the date of manufacture and packaging. Our marketing experience has shown no problems of spoilage for as long as three-plus years..." So, FYI, on a jar that I just now removed the plastic from the lid and that I apparently bought around 2015 or 2016, and opening the jar for the first time in 2022, it seems fine, even though by now it's been about seven years. The 15K13 tells us it was manufactured in 2015 on November 13th. Just opened for the first time on July 23, 2022 and seems fine. I'll replace it since it's seven years, but it doesn't seem to be an issue. This is what happens when you're an adventurous cook and have too many spices. Some get lost amongst the other bottles. :) **Q: Is this seasoning gluten free?** A: I don't see anything on the box about gluten content.
