It's been about three weeks since I planted the okra, and I've never seen such healthy-looking okra in my life. It's a little soon for it to start bearing, but the plants are growing well and are a deep, healthy green. No bugs have bothered it so far, either. I also bought the Langbeinite fertilizer made by this company and added it to the soil during planting. I have every reason to hope that this crop of okra will do better than my first this year, which succumbed to the nematodes, but even if it doesn't control them, it's a great fertilizer. I plan to try it on my winter veggies, too. Update: It is now a couple months since I wrote the first part of this review, and you can see for yourself how gorgeous my okra is.
