Is twisted stronger than beaded?

Twisted does seem to be a little stronger than braided. #36 twisted has a 348 lb test; #36 braided has a 320 lb test.

Any melting issues with hot climates? Does the tar get everywhere?

I am from St. Louis, I have Melted it with a Lighter, Other than that, In Direct Sun on a really hot Day in my Car, It makes a Smell, But didn't Fuse Together From the Sun. I Also Didn't leave it in there to Bake all day. So, If possible I would avoid Placing it in an Oven at 350 Degrees. lol

Thanks for your question! Yes, the netcoat treatment increases this product's UV resistance. This twine is designed for extended outdoor use.

When it's cut, what do the ends look like/do? How does braided line like this compare to the nature of paracord?

Paracord is a kernmantle cord, which means that there are core strands (the kern) inside a braided sheath (the mantle). This bank line is braided through and through, so it does not have separate filler strands like paracord does. It is not a hollow braid, either (like kevlar paracord, for instance). Hope that helps!
