We got a puppy last summer, a few months after the devastating loss of our dog Zeus. We noticed pretty quickly that our new pup had some serious dandruff, and she was losing tons of fur. We had fed our other dog Natures Diet food in the past (I wish I had found them sooner, it may have saved him from the lymphoma that I’m sure was caused by all the crap grocery store dog food companies are putting in their food), and I had some of their salmon oil left over. I started giving our new pup a few teaspoons on her food, and within 5 days the dandruff and itching were GONE. Her coat was shiny and soft, and the excessive shedding stopped. We dropped off giving her the salmon oil over the winter, just laziness on my part, LOL, but once the weather started warming up here in Georgia, her itching, shedding, and skin flaking started up again. So, 3 day ago I started it again, went ahead and ordered more of the Natures Diet Pet salmon oil, and it’s already light years better than it was a few days ago. 3 days ago, just petting her made her want you to scratch her, she was SO itchy, but today? No sign of itchiness, and the flaking is much better (she has mostly black fur, so it’s very noticeable). I expect that by day 6 it’ll be gone, I just have to keep it up this time. I rarely take the time to write reviews, but this company not only has amazing products that live up to the hype, they’re also great to work with. We will be weening our pup off the food she had been given at the shelter soon, and then getting her on the Natures Diet Pet food. She’s young, so between that and asking the vet to check titers for rabies vaccines instead of just getting her shots like clockwork, I’m hoping to keep her around a lot longer than our Zeus. It’s worth the price, I can’t stress that enough, of feeding our pups real food that doesn’t have dead and diseased animals, and tons of chemicals, as part of the ingredients like Purina has. Feeding them well will save them AND you.

Works great. My sweetie pie does not have the problems with skin like she used to. Her skin as well moisturized as well as her coat. There is no smell, and she loves to eat her food which is sprinkled with this product. Her coat is absolutely outstanding. Kudos.

HONEST REVIEW HERE: My dog simply loves salmon. Or really any type of fish and she loves this oil. I thought I’d save some money and grab the Amazon Basic salmon oil. Guess what— it’s not real salmon oil. Probably vegetable oil with a splash of fish oil. If my dog turns her nose up too anything fish then I’m suspect. So back to NATURES DIET where the ingredients are quality and are what they say they are. Shame on you Amazon BasicSalmon (or whatever it is) Oil! I’m confident this has all the omega my girl needs for health and it definitely has the taste she loves.

We JUST finished our 2nd bottle and we can definitely say we can see a difference. Our girl has had skin allergy issues and this has helped her skin so much. Its not dry and itchy and shes not constantly scratching or dibbling. Her coat also loook sooo beautifully shiny and soft ❤️ so pretty❤️ the only reason why i gave it 4 stars is because it leaks sooo much. I mean so much that I lost 4oz of oil. Got annoyed and transferred it to another container. Other than that, the products peak. Also my cat hates it. Lol

Get this for my 4 giant dogs to make sure they maintain healthy coats. Their fur is so soft and shiny and clean looking. Helps with some of the dry skin they get a bit also. Great stuff!

I have very picky dogs but ever since I syrated using this on their food they dont leave their bowls until the food is gone. This has also improved their itchy coats and they no longer need their allergy medication. I highly recommend this to add to your dogs food

This salmon oil has been easy to add to meals, and the dogs actually love it. It mixes in well and does not have an overpowering smell. After using it for a bit, their coats look a little shinier and softer. It is simple to pump and seems like a good quality oil. A nice addition if you want to give your pets a little extra support.

the pump is terrible and leaks. My pet likes the oil.
