I only go for roots and trimming because my color is great . I use ruby red but I think I wanna switch to red for more red tone than pink/red tone . This stuff stains your scalp if you don't scrub really good after wearing in for 15 minutes. What do you expect, it's pigment. So scrub your scalp good. Wear gloves if you mind colored hands . Normally comes out by the time I'm done with my process anyways . I don't wash my hair frequently, once to twice a week and it holds up . Looks faded after I wash it but not as bad as it would if I never used this so it maintains it after every wash . I use this every week ! It's lasted me 6 months . The conditioner is the best part, but you might as well get both . I always get compliments ♡ it's really some bomb stuff. With hair color takes lots of care, time,and some money but it was worth it . I use a good shampoo and conditioner (pureology) still, so idk if I'd trust this only to clean my hair and give it the nutrients it needs.
