BUT You don't get the tactile feedback of a beater making contact with a surface, pad or head. You also don't get the feel of a firmly closed hi-hat. They are however, fairly robust and appear to be able to hold up over the long term. I decided one thing after playing for a few days using these. If you want to go this route with any headless pedal you have to adapt some new playing techniques. **Q: Will this work with yamaha dtx-multi 12?** A: I am not sure if it would work on Yamaha products. I would almost no, it won't work. But if you are using as a kick pedal, I didn't like the "action" of it.
