Recurve Bow and Arrow Set 62" Archery Hunting Bow Wooden Takedown Recurve for Adults Beginners to Advanced Outdoor Practice & Hunting(30lb, Right Hand)

I'm new to archery, look for different brands and different bows. I go through a lot of articles and watched YouTube to find better bow. Finally decide to settle on the lightning #30 recurve. I just got this two years ago and it looks and feels like it's extremely well made. My skills are very raw to say the least, I can review about the product of design, and packing, what things come with. Cause I am addicted to amazon, already buy a number of goods in here. Let’s talk about the design first, beautiful work of art, very obvious care was taken to design and build it. It will last a long time, never fail me, and maybe even be handed down to a new generation. For the packing, it come with very hard solid box. It looks like this company has effort to the packing, it is very wise judgment. In the box, something big plastic form cover the product. It seems like usage for protect the product, and be a double protecter. There is a riser, two limbs, a bowstring, two pieces of fur arrow rest, a bow stringer, archery armguard. I am very surprise they give a lot of accessories in reasonable price. Lastly, the grip is very comfortable to me. There is also an instruction manual, which is easy to understand and assemble for a novice like me. The bow feels great in my hands and is nice to shoot. I'll update my review after I have more experience with this bow.

My 30# R-hand bow was packaged very well. Simple to assemble. Instructions included in packaging. Everything you need is in the box, except server string to attach the cat whiskers. I own more expensive bows, but the Lightning Archery takedown recurve performs as well any of my bows! SET THE BRACE HEIGHT. It was loud and twangy without adjusting the brace height & bowstring. Once I set it up at 8” it was very quiet. I got to shoot it yesterday and found it very consistent. The arrows that came with it are great for practice (or possibly competition.). I own very similar and always use then for practice. Yes, I would use an arrow with changeable points to hunt small game with this bow. Ultimately, this beautiful Lighting Archery 30# archery kit is a fantastic for the price.

The quality of the bow is great and no warping of the arms. Everything came in the kit like it said. The kit came with instructions on how to put the bow together and it was easy to read. The arm guard is surprisingly small. I had to keep changing the guard position every time an arrow slaps my arm. The practice arrows are great even though they feel very cheap, none of them broke when shot at the wooden fence and they were fine after being pulled out. The string of the bow has adjustable cushions for the fingers, which is nice because I didn't need a glove for my fingers. The bow string is not loud when fired and it doesn't sound like it needed any whiskers or pom poms. There are some scuffs on the bow (where the string is seated and where the arrow is shot) but these scuffs look like the bow was tested for approval. It's a great bow kit for beginners.

We loved the box it came with, very stylish and well thought out. I was able to assemble it fine being that I am completely new to this. The bow itself looks great, just like the pictures. When stringing, I was very cautious at first with all that tension but found a video online with someone walking through the process of getting it done. Other than that, we enjoy the bow and even the kids can use it. Excited! Now all I need to know is how to properly store it so the string stays in good condition I hope this helps, Blessings!

I was able to try out this bow and was very surprised. I have been an olympic shooter for years and have had many students. First time I show it the sound was so dead and quiet even with my long draw! Shot at 30 yards and the arrows flew well. This bow will gives you the options to eventually add a sight and stabilizers if you choose. Great for adults and children alike. They do give a good range of weigh options so you can go to a heavier limb later on.

First time purchasing a bow. I ordered a 30lb 62in in size. Being a first timer I did not realize what I received was a 60lb bow but this was not the issue. Upon stringing the bow the bottom limb deviated to the side, string popped off when I pulled. I contacted customer service by email as this is the only contact given. It was followed by the same one question responses in multiple emails. I submitted photos and explained three times in the email. The customer service was of no assistance. Save yourself the trouble go to a shop where you can ask questions and get a safe quality product.

Went together very easily and feels so great. Beautiful bow its exactly what I wanted. Shoots good and now my s.o. wont stop I might have to get him one too. THANK YOU. Highly recommend over other products similar. Good company too.

This bow is made really well. Even the bow string itself is decent. I'm glad I ordered it and if I ever need another, I'll order this brand again. The only thing that was missing was the silencer, but no worries cause they're easy to replace. Great communication from the seller.
