Review: Kitchen Aid means confidence - I have been using Kitchen Aid products since 1993. I had learned about Kitchen Aid stand mixer when I was in cooking school. When I had my internship in French restaurants in New York City, I saw pastry chefs in four star French restaurants using them to make their pastries. I found it very handy, reliable and efficient. The wire whip attachment whips egg white and heavy cream very easily and evenly. Of course, you have to know the basic of whipping, otherwise over whipping is common with a powerful machine like it. You may use a hand held mixer to do the same task. However, you will find that a hand held mixer is slow and you will feel tired very soon if you have to make a big order of egg white or whipped cream. I bought this product not because I need a replacement for my old one which is still strong and like new. It is because my friend bought a Kitchen Aid stand mixer model K4SS which doesn't come with the wire whip and the dough hook. I strongly recommanded to him to get both and he did. That is why I ordered it for him. I still strongly recommand it to any pastry maker if he/she is serious in pastry making.

**Q: will this fit the k5ss model**
A: The K5AWW model is the replacement whisk attachment for the K5SS, as cited by KitchenAid's own part store (https://www.kitchenaidparts.com/PartDetail/Wire-Whip/WPW10731415/3452447?modelNumber=K5SS).  I have a K5AA purchased some 25 years ago, and the this part DOES fit.  However, I have found the finish of the replacement part to be inferior to the original.  The original whisk attachment is entirely stainless steel, including the base, whereas the base of the replacement unit purchased May 2019 appears to be cast aluminum.  We'll see how well it might hold up.  I may also look to repair the original (one wire attachment came undone).

**Q: Will this fit Kitenaid Model K5SS ?**
A: I bought this for my Model K5-A, and it works great.  It fit the machine as well as the other attachments that goes with it.

**Q: Will this whip attachment fit a K4SSWH Model?**
A: The list that came with the whip shows that it work in lift head models: K5AWW, KN256WW, KN211WW, K5AWWC and tilt head model K45WW so I'm not sure if it would work for you.

**Q: do this fit in all mixer**
A: The label on the box says "use with mixer models: KT26, KV25, KJ26, KB25, KP26, KB26 ,KD26, KH25" I have a 5.5 quart lift bowl model KV25 and it fits.
