O-Cedar ProMist MAX Microfiber Spray Mop, Red

It's a fact that most cleaning products are made of cheap lightweight plastic these days, just the opposite of the idea that they should be tough and durable for such a challenging job. I usually try to buy commercial-grade mops, brooms and other cleaning supplies but there seems to be a definite lack of this specific type of damp mop being made for the janitorial industry. And typically commercial maintenance mops are too soaking wet for moisture-sensitive residential-grade wood laminate flooring. I had the popular mop with the disposable pre-moistened pads and while it may be okay for a quick mop-up of a spill in the kitchen it is totally unsuited to damp mop an entire floor plan constructed with laminate. The moisture built into the pad doesn't spread evenly or go where I want it to and there's not enough of it to do even one room before drying out and getting too dirty to be effective. I almost bought the Bona equivalent because I like that the liquid is user refillable but no matter where I looked people who owned them said they were flimsy and broke easily. It was hard to find anything positive, in fact. Then I happened to see this at a store and was impressed that by comparison. It just seemed better made. I like that the mop head is much larger than most and that it can be flipped so I can damp mop my entire downstairs without changing or cleaning the pad. The reservoir is easy to remove and fill and the nozzle is more than just a hole, it sprays a fine mist over a larger area. I like little things too, like the shape of the handle lets me change hand positions if I get tired and the trigger is easy to reach and pump. The wrap-around microfiber pad is superior at scrubbing out little problem spots and the way it attaches is a better design than the stick-on hook and loop pads other brands use. Because it wraps around there are no sharp edges to scratch and dent furniture and baseboards. HINT: there is a push button to release the reservoir for refilling. Because there is a built-in “O” ring to prevent leakage it isn’t as easy to push it back in place as you might expect. It’s a lot easier if you hold the release button in while you press firmly down on the reservoir until it clicks into place. I’m glad that they’ve designed it with such a tight fit … no worries about leakage. Is it commercial grade and will it last forever? No and I doubt it ... it's what you get for the price these days. But all things considered, after seeing all of the choices available, I think it is the best choice out there.

I’m really impressed with this mop! I had an Ecloth mop for years which I liked, but it was kind of a pain having to carry around a separate cleaner to spray on dirty areas. The mop finally gave out. I loved how lightweight it was, so I was a little hesitant buying this mop since it has the cleaning solution bottle snapped into place on the handle. I wasn’t sure if it would be heavy or not, but it’s not at all! I was pleasantly surprised at how light it feels. It glides on the floor really easily without having to “push” it along, almost without effort. I filled the bottle with water with a capful of Mrs Meyers honeysuckle cleaner concentrate, and the floors come out clean, streak-less, and smelling wonderful. The handle that sprays the solution doesn’t hurt my hands to use and we have a 3,000 ft square house with lots of flooring to mop. I have tendonitis and issues with my thumb, but have no trouble using this. It’s easy and simple for the kiddos to feel comfortable grabbing and using too. It’s way less expensive than a Swiffer which I’ve also used since the pad is rewashable. It cleans better and doesn’t leave the floors sticky like the Swiffer cleaning solution does. I have a Shark steam mop that I will put out on occasion if I feel the floors really need a deep, disinfecting clean, but overall, I think this is just fine on its own! The pad is well-designed and seems to “scrub” better than the Ecloth mop pad. I’ve heard good things about Norwex mops, but no way am I paying that much for one! I’m really happy with this purchase. My only regret now is not getting one sooner.

I love this mop and the pads are washable. They stand up better than the mop, sadly. I’ve bought 3 of these in the last 2 years. The latest one was April 2025 and it broke last month along w a leak. It’s not durable. BUT it’s a great mop while it lasts. I can’t find one I like better so I keep buying and after z6 months it breaks, I toss it, and buy another.

I was tired of buying expensive refills and batteries for my Swiffer. I also never felt like it was really getting my floors clean. I would always end up using my industrial steam mop so my floors would pass the barefoot test. The pads didn't absorb anything so the dust and dirt was just getting moved around. I tried similar mops where you could remove the mop pads and wash them but I was never happy with the way they fit. I LOVE the way you slide these mop pads on and velcro them on tight. Not only do they not fall off while you're cleaning , they cover the edges of the mop head so all the corners of my floors are getting cleaned. I also LOVE the way you can flip it over and dry the floor with the other side of the mop head, leaving the floor dry when you finish. Lastly, I LOVE that I can use my own cleaning solution since not all my floors are wood finished. Now all my floors pass the barefoot test. I've bought it for other people who are cleaning obsessed like myself and it's become their favorite mop too.

If you’ve got tile floors and want something affordable, reusable, and actually effective, this is a must-have. Simple, smart design that does exactly what it’s supposed to do.

This mop is easy for my husband to use at times to keep the kitchen tiles spotless. Also, this vendor worked beyond what they had to do to get the mop to us since WE had it sent to the wrong mailing address. They worked with us to catch it before shipping and corrected the mailing address in time for the mop to go to the intended receiver. Great Service, Great Mop!

Buyer Beware!!! This is no longer the product the good reviews are for! I owned the original O-Cedar ProMist MAX Microfiber Spray mop that received countless rave reviews from 2017 to 2020. It was a reliable mop that lasted for 3+ years of weekly use in a 700 sq ft+ area. Unfortunately, a heavy item was dropped on the handle (my mistake) and I had the replace that mop. I immediately went back to old reliable, placed a order without looking through recent reviews (another mistake), and eagerly awaited my replacement mop. I can only imagine somewhere along the line O-Cedar had a choice to increase the price of the mop, or find ways to make it cheaper. They chose cheaper. The new mop is a DISAPPOINTMENT! Instead of a single, hollow-tube steel handle, the "new version" handle has been separated into two pieces of thinner tube steel. This extra joint makes the mop incredibly flimsy! I was worried the handle would snap in half under normal use. And sure enough, it was not strong enough to put up with a little hard scrubbing to get stubborn spots. I had to baby the mop to keep the joint from flexing. Surprisingly, the handle outlasted the even cheaper spray assembly head! The original mop had a fair amount of resistance when you pulled the handle, but the lever action was smooth and the mist was uniform and consistent. Because it was made of quality parts! That is no longer the case. Previously, a set of O-rings and springs kept the mop reservoir and spray head together when misting. This sturdy system replaced by a simple plastic "bump" that presses up into the stopper spring on the mop reservoir, which allows a variable amount of water through each time. Sometimes I got almost no mist, other times it was spitting large droplets instead of a fine mist. This smooth spray level also felt clunky and cheap, like it was straining to do its job. Again, this is where I though the mop might fail... Nope! The spring for the stopper on the mop reservoir must be made out of aluminum foil, because it failed during FIRST USE! This cause the mop reservoir to constant release water, which sloshed all over my floors. I eventually had to resort to only putting the water reservoir in for a few sprays to keep the water under control so I could finish cleaning my floor. Now that it is done, this mop is in the trash and I will have to find a new one before the next time the floors need to be cleaned. Avoiding O-Cedar products moving forward. It's a shame. I own 4 of the microfiber mop heads which have held up well over the years. Again, BUYER BEWARE! This was once a quality mop. Now it is streamlined, cost-cut, and CHEAP!

Does exactly what it promises. Cleaner container comes off easily, I used a vinegar solution I make. Snapped back in place and spray, from squeezing the handle, hits the intended target well. Mop/cloth comes off easily and I threw it in the washing machine. A much better choice than other brands where the mop/cloth is one-use only and you can’t detach the cleaning solution container and use what you choose.

Good mop. Need to pre-wash the mop pad as not really absorbent first time.

Me encanta. Tengo tiempo usándolo. Es súper práctico porque no debes estar cargando el montón de cosas para pasear de un nivel a otro. Muy bueno. Existen reemplazos para el paño de microfibra. Seca muy bien el piso de porcelanato brillante.
