The family-centered tradition of sharing Oplatki before the Christmas Eve meal is a wonderful celebration of love and forgiveness that has its origins in Poland. Family members and guests each break a piece of the wafer and share it with the next person at the table along with an expression of love, blessing and, sometimes, forgiveness. In America, it is often referred to as "Christmas Wafers". Hay (Sianko) is usually placed in the corners of the room and on the tablecloth, recalling Christ's humble birth in a stable. We were very disappointed with this product. The description clearly states four mini wafters (ie. 2 in each package), yet each package only came with ONE wafter. This was every disappointing, as we ended up not having enough wafers for each person in our family. Thanks for ruining our tradition.

Disappointed: ( It is expensive for what it is
As someone else pointed out, only one wafer was included per package (2 in total). I had to split them in half. Disappointed :( It is expensive for what it is!
