Great product. Durable and comfortable. Not hard to breathe through. We use these whenever we're going to be in close quarters - a plane, train, theater - and they've been reliable so far.

Good fit and comfortable

I have been wearing masks for over 5 years in public for health reasons. The farm box store I used to get my 5 packs of masks, which I really liked, no longer carries them, so I scoured reviews on Amazon and the Internet. I have been reusing my masks for too long so I finally had to just give something a try. I tried the Hotodeal masks because they were very reasonably priced, under $10 for 20 at the time of purchase, they had many purchases and ok reviews, and these look very similar to my old masks. This first thing I noticed was that the embossing on the mask is not the same as pictured in the description photos, so this could be a different version. No place on the box does it state these are 5 layers as the online description claims, and only 3 materials are actually mentioned on the box. Is this a lesser quality version of the mask? Where the masks are “seamed together” by pressing, the light clearly shines through. Is this a weak point? I like that the masks hold flat for easy storage without damage. The metal nose bridge is nicely encased between the layers. There is a sparkly shimmer to the white fabric, so I assume it is not cotton but some synthetic fabric. “Hot air cotton” is actually a synthetic. Research it. There is a slight chemical scent to these masks, so I am opening one pack of 10 to allow them to off gas before using. They have a slight stiffness to them, but the inside is soft on the face. Another difference from the photos in the description is regarding the ear straps. They barely fit my normal size adult head without pulling my ears forward. Ear straps should err on the side of long, rather than short, because you can always shorten them with a knot or bead, but can’t lengthen them. I did try stretching them out and that took the edge off a bit. I will be keeping these. After a few hours of off gassing, the scent went away.

Have used this brand over and over. No breakage; works well.

As a landscaper who has bad seasonal allergies, these are a must. These work well for a one time use. Comfortable enough for a mask and helps keep out the dust and pollen. Fits well and doesn't have a strong odor. Stays put.

Very well made helps me with my sinus problems

These are currently not FDA approved, but based on testing done by Armbrust American, they do pass the filtration guidelines (~99%). Their review of the mask stated that it doesn’t meet all the labeling requirements of a KN95 mask and the breathability is not as good as a true KN95. I used these for about a year while working with k-8th graders. I was never sick! I reused one for five days straight before throwing it away at the end of the week. I did not take it on and off throughout the day and did my best not to touch it. Kids and coworkers were getting Covid all around me, but I never got it. It could have been my immune system but I was around my sick mom without a mask for 20 minutes while helping her take a Covid test and came down with it 2 days later. As for comfort and fit, the room between your mouth and the mask makes it easy to talk. I didn’t experience any dampness and I felt comfortable breathing. Without glasses I can wear these for an entire day without any problems. With glasses, my ears started to ache after 3-4 hours with it on my face. I wore my thick rimmed glasses perched on top of the mask, with the mask strings over the ends of my glasses. This kept the mask and my glasses secure around my nose and prevented any fogging. It definitely didn’t fit around my nose like an N95, but it was good enough to protect me in a school setting. I have a larger than average nose and deep set eyes, which makes fitting a mask difficult. Overall: If you need protection, these will do the job. These masks are definitely better for filtrating unwanted particles than a cloth mask or a sports performance mask. *Wrote the same review for WWDOLL masks. I used them interchangeably and Armbrust had the same critiques and filtration specs for both brands.

This is my second purchase of the masks. The first purchase I loved. The masks I received are the ones that are shown in the demo video by the seller (blue and white packaging). The masks fit great, made with great quality and were comfortable! The second order of these masks I received are a completely different mask. They came in a different packaging shown in the first picture by the seller (orange packaging). The masks are a really small fit more suitable for a small face. Only a couple of the masks have the metal clip at the nose. The rest are missing the metal clip removing the ability to create a customize fit. The fibers on the inside of the mask fray resulting in getting the fibers in your mouth when you talk. I wish I would have received the same masks I received in my first order (blue and white packaging in seller’s video). They were 4 star masks! The second order of masks (blue and orange) are okay. I may have just received a one off batch.
