I can get the tiniest amount for around my eyes or enough to use on my whole face. I use both thumbs, one on each side and slowly and evenly press to get the exact amount I want. I now own four of these and use them with serums and creams. after a couple of uses, I take alcohol on cotton and wipe the white part to keep sanitized. They have worked flawlessly every time. I really think the key is to depress the dispenser evenly and slowly.
